But it's definitely worth more than a stopover. Despite the proximity to the airport the Riad is calm and cozy, and Fatima and her lovely team are super helpful and adorable, the food is great ( also excellent vegetarian options). The location of the hotel is very bad, unpaved street through a shady neighbourhood, very dark and stray dogs. Wouldn't walk around after darkness - only with the car. The owner is very friendly. It is well decorated, with comfortable beds, a kitchen with key utensils and a nice terrace. It is located in a family friendly suburb of Ouarzazate and we found it easy to get the cheap petit taxi to the various places we wanted to go. Even though the last 5 mins of the drive was off road, the 2WD rental car handled it fine. Room was huge with multiple beds. Food was yum (with a vegan option) as was the wine.
