Super nice location with a great view very close to border what makes this place super hub for those who travel from Serbia to Montenegro! Wonderful and cozy little house to stay. Very friendly owners. Delicious breakfast (included) and dinner (8 euro per person extra). Kids loved the Playstation in the house and the large soccer and baseball field right next to it. Two single beds and one double bed upstairs. Free parking on premises. Communication with the owners may be a little difficult due to the lack of English but they're doing their best to communicate. Lovely free welcome drink. Small convenient well equipped kitchen.

I travel often, both for work and for pleasure, and I can honestly say that Atelje 1981 is one of the most remarkable apartments I’ve ever stayed in, as it combines the poetic soul of a lived place with all the comfort and care of a freshly renovated, lovingly managed home. The apt has its own identity, shaped by the artistic legacy of the painter who once lived and worked here—coming back in the evening and leafing through the beautifully catalogues of his work is a wonderful experience. And then there is the Polimski family, who are extraordinarily warm and welcoming hosts and made us feel more than just guests. Finally, Bijelo Polje — a small town, yet surprisingly a place where a lot of creative energy has taken root: from the painter Polimski, to the poet Risto Ratković who lived just next door, and the epic storyteller Avdo Međedović. I couldn’t recommend this place more, hope to be back soon!!
