I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The moment you arrive you are made feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are incredible, as is the hotel itself. The location is fantastic as is the food and the facilities. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Oaxaca if I was going back.

    The staff was extremely helpful and kind. They were ready to answer all questions and ensure we were having a pleasant stay. One night when the cab didn't arrive, they went out of their way to drive us to a restaurant reservation showing that they can go above and beyond. Despite being a pet friendly place, once they saw how terrified I was of their cat, they did everything to help me feel more comfortable and that was enormously appreciated. Perla, Benito and another young man at the front desk were the BEST!

    Location is great! Staff and facilities top notch, pet friendly which is a bonus! Loved the little extras in the room. Although we had a small room it was perfectly equipped. Value for the basic room is great. I stay often in Oaxaca for work and decided to splurge a bit. Compared to a basic room around the area which are around $1000-$1500 in the high season, Hotel Los Amantes basic room includes a delicious breakfast and great amenities. Very much worth it. Will be back and want to check out some of the nicer rooms with bathtub!
