Bardiya is an amazing place, and this homestay is the best place from which to discover it. The whole family welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. Khali is a lovely woman, she took such good care of us, and cooks the best Dal Bhat I’ve ever had. Nanu is a great host, passionate about wildlife and nature, and it’s incredible to venture into the jungle with him and discover its wild animals together. They helped us with everything we needed, made sure to vary the meals (all of them excellent), and we even cooked momos together. We truly hope to come back one day, and to see you all again! I stayed at this accommodation a couple of nights. Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

My stay at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay was nothing more than exceptional! Since before my arrival to Bardiya, Mukti was making sure through what's app that I knew how to arrive at Bardiya since I was crossing from the west border from India to Nepal. The moment I arrived I was received with so much kindness by Renuka (Mukti's wife) and he's mother with a beautiful little Hindu greeting. Showed me to my room which was clean, spacious, with its own attached bathroom and a beautiful view from the garden outside. In the beginning I booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 8 days because of how amazing and loving everything in the homestay was. From the delicious cooking of Renuka to the incredible hospitality of all members of Mukti's family. They make you feel like family. I did 3 jungle walks. Because my main purpose was to be lucky enough to see a tiger in the wild! And I can say (with a big smile while writing this) that Mukti made my DREAM (since I was 6 years old) come true! I was able to see a majestic tiger drinking water on my first jungle walk! Not just that but spotted rhinos, many kinds of birds, otters hunting for a snake and many more fauna inside the national park. All of these was possible due to Mukti's incredible knowledge of the place and animals. And this is just one of all the incredible things I experienced at Bardiya Eco Safary Homestay! Everyday I ate delicious traditional and organic Nepalese food. Everything is grown in the homestay garden. They even make their own paneer! Oh how I miss Renuka's delicious food! We played cards every night, enjoying great conversations about Nepalese culture and about life in the terai region...Learned how to make momos from scratch. Went around town to experience the local life. And even did a little ride at night around the town with Mukti's nephew in which we were lucky enough to spot a leopard crossing the street!!!

Had a short but very pleasant stay, thanks to the friendly and helpful owner Krishna, as well as the personel. There's a variety of food options available at the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and overall I'd say you get value for money. I also arranged an enjoyable walking safari with Krishna, though I didn't get lucky with the wildlife. Better luck during my next visit!

Great resort, easy going place, lovely location right next to the national park. Rishi was my guide and he was very knowledgable, we managed to see 3 tigers which was amazing. I would recommend!!!!

I stayed with my friend 4 days and we had a wonderful time here. Hukum went to jungle Safari with us, he is an experienced wildlife guide and we spottet lots of animals. His wife cooked tasty food every day fresh from their organic garden for us. She made extra veggi food for my diet and lunch package for all for jungle trekking. Bungalow was cosy, bathroom with hot shower and free WiFi. All in all we felt very welcome. Hukum helped us arranging the transport and overnight bus back to Kathmandu. Communication was easy, he cares a lot to make his guests feel good. In the evening he made campfire for us. The area is safe and lots of things to see around here. We will definitely come back.

Had a great stay in Bardia. Pratap and his team do their best to show you as much wildlife as possible. He and his guides are very knowledgeable and motivated. The rooms are very comfy and super clean. It's in walking distance from the park entrance. We had a great time. Thank you so much!
