Every single member of staff I met was amazing. Genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. The hotel was very clean and would be ideal for solo travellers or couples (possibly families too). It's a 1 minute walk away from Thamel which is the main "tourist" area of the city.. but a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction you will get some amazing small local spots with the best "momo" (the most popular local/national food. Essentially dumplings with different fillings) but anyway..the location is ideal. its close to everything but still in a calm and quiet area. I had the most amazing chats every day with Abhi, the hotel supervisor/manager. An absolute gentleman who would go over and beyond in every way for a guest. But all the staff were the same. I only ate breakfast in the hotel and usually stuck to the same (American Style). But it was always very good. The guys would gladly give you some extra food etc if you wanted. I didn't eat other food from the restaurant as I was eating out and about but I'm sure it is all great. They were also great in regards to laundry services. I would definitely recommend this hotel for any backpackers, solo travellers or couples.

Really good localisation, in the heart of Thamel ! The dormitory is clean, comfortable, with real hot water !!! They are female and male dormitory. The breakfast is generous and really good (bread, jam, butter, egg, banana…) and provide also drinking water (hot and cold). And the staff is friendly.

Comfortable room and bed, was clean and in good shape. Great breakfast with tea/coffee on the roof terrace. Staff is very friendly. We could stored our baggage there which we don’t needed on the more day hiking trip.

I stayed here for one night (24–25 July) and everything exceeded my expectations. The owner was incredibly warm and helpful, making the atmosphere feel truly like a second home. The facilities were well-maintained, the place was spotless, and the room was very comfortable. It’s in a great location, and for the price, it offers amazing value. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu! And I was even provided with transportation as needed. Kudos to Mr. Deepak for managing things in simple but efficient way!!

Extremely pleasant host Rabina. She was very helpful, courteous and extremely patient. Was proactive with her helpful tips to explore Khatmandu. Their house is very warm and had friendly vibes and the room I stayed in was exceptionally clean and had everything one could ask for. I absolutely loved and appreciated my stay at Mira’s and Sudarsan’s place! After travelling two months around Nepal and coming straight from Lumbini landing in such a clean heaven was a blessing! The house itself is so modern and beautiful, everything is always spotlessly clean and there is always a fantastic smell (jasmine, cleanliness and good food! best smells, no?) I originally booked for one week in the apartment, but i ended up staying two more weeks in another room and when i decided to spend some days away in the mountains, Mira held there some of my things for me so that i could travel lightly. Mira and Sudarsan are lovely people and you can always have good conversations and learn something new about the local culture, i really appreciated that! Around the table at dinner time you can meet people from all over the world. But if you are more of introvert like me, your privacy and alone time will always be highly respected. The wifi always worked great, even on the days when i had many hours of video calls for work, it never glitched. (and i have never experienced a power shortage during my stay!) Hot water is always plenty, and towels and sheets are very, very clean (and smelling good). Rooms are amazing, clean with lovely light coming in. The food is always good, healthy and fresh; i fell in love with Mira’s pumpkin soup. I am definetly going to miss it. The surrounding area is very calm, away from the hustle, and very peaceful. In a 30 min walk you can reach an area full of beautiful monasteries, and by following along the road you will then reach the monkey temple. I have enjoyed my stay so much and i will definitely come back on my next trip to Nepal. Thank you again, and so much love to all of you and lovely dog Lucky!
