I stayed at Hamurana for 14 days. It is in a rural and quiet area with a (partial but still nice) view of the lake- also not too far away to drive into Rotorua. The house is actually two different houses, so I had a lot of space and it was great to have a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer at my disposal. A great quiet place to stay outside of Rotorua.

The house is beautifully maintained and has large windows facing the lake, allowing the natural light to roll in. We had the fireplace lit nearly permanently, and it made the house feel even more like home. The kitchen is very well laid out, we thoroughly enjoyed cooking dinner in there.

    Awesome for pets, super cheap so of course you get what you pay for. It’s good if you just need somewhere to sleep while you go out and about. Very welcoming of our dog & was aloud to have him in the room with us! A lot of cats around but we didn’t have a problem with that.
