A little oasis in the middle of the Tunis! The guest house has surprised us with tranquil, tropical and beautiful courtyard, which was a stark contrast to the bustling streets of Tunis. The breakfast was amazing - full of flavor and beautifully presented. The house is decorated with traditional details, which makes it unique and comfortable to stay. Dar Souad made our stay in Tunis very special! And most importantly the family, who runs the guest house made us feel welcome and helped with all our questions. Thank you!

To begin with, the location was ideal. A short 20min ride from the airport. The apartment is located just off a busy road which has many shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The street is generally quiet at night. During the day there are local cafes and restaurants operating at your doorstep. A short easy 10 min walk brings you to the main popular tourist and visitors area by La Marsa beach and Al Ahmadi Mosque, the plaza and corniche etc.. I felt safe in this locality and everything was easily accessible. Coming out onto the main road also brings you to the buses and group taxis for easy transportation. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable. The lounge has the dining area alongside it and is equipped well all throughout. The toilets are clean and the shower is good. The bedroom sizes were perfect and bed was comfortable along with all the pillows and duvet. Can easily accommodate 4 adults. Host had good communication before and during my stay. Responsive and helpful. I'd definitely stay again.

The apartment was really big and had a bathroom for every bedroom. The big indoor ‘water park’ was a great addition at this shoulder season. The small mall nearby had a fine supermarket and a café that also made food to-go. Quite convenient.

    We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Souad! It is a family-run guesthouse with a lovely garden, a dog and a cat, located in the middle-class neighbourhood of La Marsa, walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Our room on the top floor was very spacious, comfy and nicely decorated, with an impressive traditional dome/cupola on the ceiling, an amazing view and hammam-like shower. Breakfast was also quite tasty and generous.
