Cylia and all the staff were fantastic and made sure we didn't miss anything! We are two young women and we stayed at the Ruhija Gorilla Guest house for one night and then tracked with the gorillas the next day but we would have stayed longer! Our room was fantastic, spacious, clean and with two big comfortable beds. The dinner they cooked for us was great and Cylia is careful to fulfil your every wish. Before dinner we visited the village (an experience not to be missed) we met the local people and visited the school and the orphanage; all the people are extremely kind. This was my second stay and Gideon and Esther were as warm and welcoming as ever. The rooms are small but neat, tidy and clean and include an ample breakfast. They will also cook other meals if needed. It’s a convenient location, walking distance from the town centre. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel like you’re part of the family.

Great lodge with the most amazing view of the forest! It’s located in a very quiet and peaceful area but it is easy to get there from Buhoma and Ruhija. Nelly and her staff are amazing and you always feel like home. I look forward to coming back.
