If you visit Bandera, this is the place to stay. Super clean, beds are nice, when we arrived we got a fire starter, corn for the animals (to feed the ducks) & a s'mores package. Loved it! Tracy is the nicest person and will give you the best tips.

The owners are very nice and explained to me how their chicken farm works. Every guest gets to feed the chickens as well! They were also kind enough to give me some eggs for my trip, for free!

    I love staying at The Vaquero. The location is close to the main attractions. The cabins are spacious, and the queen beds are so comfortable. The twin beds need better mattresses though. Their customer service is outstanding!

    The property was immaculate and very cute! Close to main drag of Bandera with easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. Loved the yard for our dog, and all the deer watching we were able to do from our front door. Terri and David were wonderful hosts, who communicated with us in a very timely fashion. Highly recommend! Well book again.
