i highly reccomend this accomodation. I only stayed one night but if i could atay more i would. The owners were super friendly, very helpful. They had offer us dinner as an addition that was fantastic. The room was excellent. The accomodation is surrounded by nature which is just magestic. We asked the staff that we would like to do a tour in Mekong Delta and rhey had suggested an english speaking guide which was great. Everything was excellent. I couldn't reccomend it more.

Incredibly welcoming and wonderful hospitality from Tu, the proprietor! The room was incredibly clean and comfortable with breakfast as part of the deal. If you want to travel to the Mekong Delta, My Tho is an amazing destination to start this journey. Tu has local insights to share about the city and the area and includes the great places to visit and to dine out that are beyond the tourist guides. Highly recommend it and please do not hesitate to book here!

Sometimes when travelling you end up in a place where everything seems to come together. This is such a place. Located on an island in the Mekong, close to the city of My Tho (just take a ferry, it costs only 2000 dong per person and goes about every ten minutes) but away from all the noise and hassle. On top of that, not only is it the only homestay on the island, it is the only whateverstay on the island. There are no other hotels, appartments, guesthouses or homestays. It's just a small Vietnamese village. If you want to live Vietnam style, this is it. Chuong, the owner, is a warm, welcoming, enthusiastic and helpfull owner, you can ask him anything. Communication was fluid and easy. There are no real restaurants on the island but do yourself a favour and eat with the family. The meals, cooked by his wife are probably the best you will eat on your travel through Vietnam. Our room overlooked the Mekong river and was spacious, had airco, a large bed and a desk. We had a clean private bathroom. And our room had a terrace from where we could watch the sunset. Or walk 2 minutes to the tip of the island for even more perfection. We rented a scooter to disover the other islands and even Ben Tre. Ask Chuong for directions. This is just the perfect spot! We felt sorry we had to leave, we could have stayed here for ages.

What an authentic experience, beautiful location right on the river bank with a real village atmosphere, there will be the sound of the river lulling you to sleep and the sound of roosters & local announcement speakers waking you up in the morning. The room facilities are unbeatable for the price, there is a large bungalow with a beautiful rustic leaf wall, private bathroom and air conditioning. The room rate includes breakfast and foot soak service which is great. Free bicycles are also provided. Exploring the village by bicycle through the concrete roads under coconut trees is a worthwhile experience. The home-cooked meals are also delicious with reasonable prices. This is really a valuable option for those who are looking for an authentic experience when visiting Ben Tre and the Mekong Delta.
