I expected smaller place with more people. The property is an old horse farm, it is huge with beautiful gardens and the main area with swimming pool, lake etc. They have only a few rooms, so it is a quiet wonderful oasis in Karoo. the service is excellent.

I love this little spot. Not only are they pet friendly, with a cute private garden for doggy to do his doodie, the host was very accommodating to my late arrival (both times!). The room has everything you need to be comfy and warm. The shower is fab and it's on a quiet street, so minimal disturbance. I'll choose this spot EVERY time I head to the Cape or back. Thank you Fig Tree!

    The location is perfect, so easy to get there from the highway, and back onto highway. It is pet friendly, but it's an open space for pets to roam around, our dogs would have done better in an enclosed little space as they don't particularly love other doggies.

    A wonderful option for a halfway stop on a long drive. Although I wish we could have stayed a few days. Staff go above and beyond to try and make you comfortable. The food was good, the atmosphere cosy and the grounds are beautiful. Best of all, they are very pet friendly. Our little dog had an absolute ball exploring everywhere together with the resident dogs. She was delighted to run free on the huge lawns.
