I loved the location, the vibe of the hostel and the friendlyness of the staff. Bethany was especially friendly and made my stay enjoyable. I stayed two nights in the 4 bed dorm and one night in the Private Queen. I'm 1.91m tall and the bed in the dorm was a bid short for my taste (couldn't stretch out), but the private queen room on the main floor is awesome. It has a comfortable bed and a huge bathroom.

Canada Games Complex can be found within 700 metres from the pet-friendly Travelodge Thunder Bay. It is 3 km from Lakehead University and 10 km from Thunder Bay International Airport. Parking is provided on site at no additional cost. I don't know what else I would I add more to it. It was excellent to stay here.

This 2-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, an ATM and free WiFi. The hotel has a barbecue and an indoor pool. Check out was 12 noon. That gave me a chance to sleep in and not have to rush around to get out. The breakfast went until 10 AM and was well stocked right to the end (I never got there until 9:30). The pool was large, deep and clean. The hot tub was clean and had jets that worked well The bed was real comfortable and had nice pillows The room was very clean. I REALLY appreciate that! The TV server was easy to understand, there was a guide on the screen to be able to choose which program was on which channel. (Most hotels now have tv but its a crap shoot as to where to find a program, you have to scroll each half hour to see if there is something to watch)
