This was the ideal base for exploring La Guajira—from Cabo de la Vela to the salt flats of Manaure. Whether you're here to relax or to adventure, this spot is a perfect launchpad. The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

The atmosphere is so relaxed and you can have a great time there. We loved the activities like movie night or mangrove tour, parties or pizza night. The location is perfect with the river and the sea very close by. The room and facilities were cleaned every day and the chill space was really chill 😃 Every day there is food at fixed time frames and it makes people come together and it’s easy to make connections. The staff and volunteers are super nice and it was a pleasure to hang out with everyone. It makes sense that people stay here for more than a few days.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. Really nice owners, clean room and relaxed garden/yard to chill. Room had a toilet and shower and a fan. Kitchen that's available for guest to use. Great breakfast for 12 000 pesos. Really friendly dog and 2 cats. Quiet at night (after 23 the hostel near by stops playing music). Really good value for the money.
