I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

I arrived in Biscarrosse by bike, completely exhausted after a long ride — later than expected, but Romy, the wonderful host, waited for me with such care and warmth. That first welcome already set the tone. I was so tired I decided to stay one more night, and Romy made it all super easy and stress-free. Honestly, it was the best price I could find within 150 km! The place itself felt like a home. Two of the sweetest dogs live there — gentle, friendly, and full of love. In the evening, Romy even offered me a cup of tea, which was exactly what I needed after the road. The next morning, I had to figure out how to send my bike back to Czechia — a challenge I didn’t quite know how to solve. Romy came to the rescue again: she offered to drive me to the post office with my bike in her car. That little trip turned into a mini adventure of its own — full of laughter and good vibes. Later that day, we ended up going out to a bar to hear a DJ friend of theirs play — the perfect, unexpected ending to a beautiful day. Romy, thank you again — and thank you to the whole team — for your kindness, generosity, and care. You made my stay not just comfortable, but truly memorable. You are amazing.

Featuring a terrace, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Fantastic location in the centre of Saint Jean de Luz, close to the bus and train station so very easy to visit the surrounding areas (San Sebastian, Guéthary, Biarritz,...). Close to the beach, the shops, very clean, staff extremely helpful. They even had a shower that we were able to use after checkout and after going to the beach !
