The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

Located in a tranquil area just behind Tebay Services, with convenient access from the M6. The hotel boasts a garden with a pond, as well as an on-site bar and a restaurant. we had a very late check in (2:30am) and the staff ensured someone was up to greet us and let us in promptly

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. It offers stone walls and en suite bathrooms. Breakfast was good. Evening meal very expensive and disappointing, fish over done and greasy and chips very dry, we did not enjoy it at all so would eat out next time. Staff very nice, location and parking was excellent so we would return again.
