Breakfast was a serene experience as I enjoyed my meal while watching the fish in the little pond – such a peaceful way to start the day! The sleeping areas are thoughtfully designed, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the lobby is super inviting, perfect for relaxing or chatting with fellow travelers. The host is exceptionally welcoming and always ready to help with anything you might need, whether it's advice on local attractions or just a friendly conversation. Honestly, the only downside was that I didn't want to leave the hostel at all! I had a wonderful time here, recharging my energy for the rest of my travels. If you're looking for a cozy, beautifully decorated place with a welcoming vibe, this is the spot for you!

If you want peace and quiet, and the feeling of close with the nature, this is the place for you. The place has everything, from the friendly and helpful staff to the sounds and smells of nature. We had a mixed feeling about the location. It’s relatively close to the Tegalluar Whoosh train station (around 30 mins by car) but quite far from the city center or Dago or Lembang area. If you want to see Bandung too, maybe it’s best to stay in two different places because it’s just more convenient. All the photos are representative of the reality. While the place is quite far from restaurants, it actually offers decent and rather affordable food and beverages. All made with TLC. Value for money was also excellent.

With mountain views, this accommodation features a balcony. The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Excellent location in the rice fields and great atmosphere in the garden to hake dinner by the pool or just chill. One of the best meals we had in our trip. Don’t be afraid of frogs and geckos and other animal sounds, it’s the same everywhere in indonesia close to nature.

Some units feature a seating area for your convenience. A terrace or balcony are featured in certain rooms. Rooms have a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. All rooms have a private bathroom fitted with shower on solar energy. Everything was excellent. We stayed 2 nights in a family room because it was the only room left and it was huge, very clean, with a balcony overlooking rice fields. Shower and AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was simple but delicious (fruit juice, fresh fruit, cheese/egg & tomato toastie, tea). Filtered water was available to refill bottles. The owner and his Belgian friend helped us book tickets online for Borobodur & Prambanam, and also secured a driver. We were able to visit Prambanam before lunch, Borobodur after lunch, and also the two smaller Buddhist temples Pawon and Mendut. The hotel owner also booked a car to take us to the airport. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, superb service, including getting up early to give us breakfast. Would definitely stay again and stay for longer, this would be a nice place to unwind by the pool.

I arrived here late evening and decided to instead book a 1 night stay to rest before hiking up Bromo at 2am. The accommodation is overall great! The room share is spacious, the facilities are abundant (no toilet queues, they've got like 4 bathrooms available, common kitchen available if you want to cook something, and stable WIFI!!!) The journey up Bromo (or anywhere in Indo for that matter) will be the Gojeks! So, will need to have the app, some cash in hand and the bravery to haggle 😉. Really recommend this hostel for those looking to travel to Bromo. Oh, and Madakaripura is quite near this hostel.
