Our hot tubs, which are included in the stay, are located outside, 300 meters from the guesthouse. Staff is super. Location and view on the valley and glacier, everything is new and furniture basic, but all you need! We had extra time for breakfast and they cooked extra waffle for the kids. The wifi was a bit weak in the breakfast room, but not an issue at all. There is a really nice mini-exhibition with rocks and minerals in the sitting room, with some history about the place with focus on local nature. Just 15/20 mins from Hofn, with plenty of restaurants available.

Rooms are brightly decorated at Hof 1 Hotel and have either shared or private bathrooms. I recommended this place for accommodation. There is nice and helpful staff. This place is near to the glacier hiking meeting point. Free parking and great quality breakfast. This is a memorable place as this is my first time to see the northern light ever.

Each room at Árnanes comes with a terrace and blackout curtains for bright summer evenings. Some rooms have private entrance or a balcony. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable, and clean. And breakfast was plentiful! Also, great location and just a beautiful spot overall.

Beautiful hotel in a picturesque setting with a view of the nearby glacier if the weather is clear. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and our service was excellent. This was the only Fosshotel our group stayed at while in Iceland as they were generally more pricey than our other accommodations, but we thought it was well worth it!
