Even with rainy weather we could just sit and look out over the village as the apartment is at the top of the village, but it’s only a few minutes walk down to the centre of town. Nice layout of the apartment, large shower, kitchen was a great size and great views from the kitchen/dining and also the bedroom. Loved the homemade tarts that the host left for us - very delicious! Was great to be able to park just in front of the apartment also.

Palias is a lovely family hotel. I had a balcony where I could hear the river Loa and overlook the town. The mountains and river are definitely where to go to stay cool and relaxed in the middle of summer. I enjoyed delicious coffee and pastries for breakfast and had two excellent dinners. I can’t decide If I liked the cod or the gnocchi better! I finished dinner with this amazing pistachio gelato! The host went out of his way to help me and guide me to interesting local spots. He was above and beyond kind, patient, and generous. I can’t wait to tell other New Yorkers about this get away!
