The resort’s unique setting nestled within nature means you’re surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle—even the garden attracts a variety of local wildlife. Despite arriving late (around 10:20 PM), we were warmly welcomed. The owner personally ensured that our late arrival was taken care of by waiting with a delicious buffet dinner featuring an array of traditional Sri Lankan dishes. He even explained every dish and introduced us to delightful local desserts. Another highlight was the convenient transportation service offered by the resort. The owner arranged rides to and from various destinations, even picking us up from a location 2.5 hours away. We also took part in an exciting safari trip to Wildpattu National Park via this resort.. Our driver for safari was knowledgeable and resourceful, successfully handling minor other mcar repairs during the safari. The journey through the humid forest was thrilling as we encountered numerous animals, creating an unforgettable wildlife experience. While our stay was brief—we only spent one night as we headed out for a full-day safari—the clean, spacious rooms and the owner’s attentive care made it feel like a home away from home. I wholeheartedly recommend Ceylon Resort Wildpattu to anyone looking for an immersive nature experience combined with genuine hospitality.

Great service from the owner and it was a nice extra to see that there is a new Pool now! Breakfast and Dinner was amazing! Thanks to the cook!;) They helped us with the taxi and we could use the Bikes to go to the Beach and watch the Sunset! Amazing place to relax! Still a small biulding site around but its not that bad.

Our hosts and their family were very friendly and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The cabin is lovely with clean facilities and in a good location close to the lake and national park entrance. The food was amazing and we highly recommend the full day safari.

The property provides lagoon views. The staff was amazong, they tried absolutely everything to do an excellent work and were always ready. No matter what you needed, they always tried to help you. The resort is in a very quiet area and has a nice clean pool with a pool bar.

The restaurant has the best food, and the service is really flexible. Shewon was super helpful too. Definitely recommend for a chill getaway! 🌊🏄‍♂️

It is located at a-minute walk away from the Rascals kite surfing school where you can rent equipment, learn how to kite surf and free boat transfer to main kite surfing beach. Yoga classes are available at an extra cost. One of the best places we've ever stayed. If you're reading this, go ahead and book your stay and thank me later.
