We should have stayed an extra day! Our rooms were amazing. Small fireplace to heat, comfortable and clean bedrooms and beds, hot water and good bathrooms. The home made dinner and breakfast was delicious. The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back on our next visit.

Very original accommodation, which is probably unparalleled elsewhere. I've been to this place once before a few years ago and the place is still just as great! Dinner and breakfast here are a truly memorable experience and a very nice change from the traditional offerings elsewhere in Morocco.

The landscape is a perfect backdrop to the uniquely decorated hotel. We felt like we were in Tuscany as we dined on the open patio overlooking rolling hills filled with olive trees. The property has a lovely garden, many cosy patios for relaxation and a wonderful vantage point for watching the sun set. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and great views. Our meals were varied and delicious. As for the staff, they were extremely attentive and thoughtful. Each evening they would bring our dessert to a freshly lit fire. Very romantic! We enjoyed our time so much that we added an additional night. Overall, a hidden gem in Morocco.

Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique : montagnes, grand espace vert, animaux adorables et un calme ressourçant. L'accueil de Monsieur Abdellah et de sa famille est chaleureux et sincère. Chaque repas est un délice, préparé avec des légumes bio de leur ferme, sans oublier le thé aux herbes fraîches qui vient directement du jardin… un vrai moment de plaisir. Une expérience authentique que je recommande très fortement et que je referai avec grand plaisir.

The hotel is situated in the middle of atlas mountain in a small village. The host and his family were super friendly. The room was very clean. Thank you for having us. Can definitely recommend this place. Streets the hotel is well accessible by car. The last 100 meters to the hotel you will have to walk. You walk through the village which also was a great highlight. Food was very delicious!

Situé à Kasba des Aït Athmane, l’établissement Auberge Sous Les Étoiles Lac Ouiouane propose un restaurant. Vous trouverez sur place des animations en soirée et un service d'étage. Même si la barrière de la langue compliquait un peu les échanges, nous avons été très bien accueillis. Nous avons excellemment bien mangé, dîner comme petit-déjeuner.

Situé à Arrougou et offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement Villa Mouloud, arougou khenifra possède un jardin, un salon commun, une terrasse et un restaurant. This is a peaceful, shady and quiet family compound, well worth the ten minute drive from Khenifra. When we arrived, the gate was opened for us immediately, and by the time we had our luggage from the car, a lovely lady had brought us a large tea tray with snacks. It was so pleasant and much cooler in the walnut tree shade than elsewhere we had been that day. Our large private double room had a lounge, coffee table and cupboard, and very unique local finishes. The ensuite is roomy and modern, with a great shower. They serve the best breakfast in Morrocco. Breads, porridge, eggs, spreads, tea, coffee, juice, everything fresh and tasty. The owner was very helpful and considerate through whatsapp and in person at all times, making our stay ideal

Mohamed went out of his way to take care of us. A story by way of example: two days before our stay, we found ourselves too tired to complete our hike to the hotel where we planned to stay the night before coming to Dar Megdaz. On a whim, I contacted Mohamed to see if he could arrange car transport. At the time, we had no idea what we were asking of him. It turned out that part of the road he had to travel was almost completely impassable by car--it was on a rocky creek bed and over steep, unpaved hills. We could not believe that Mohamed came, as he had said he would. He didn't even ask for payment but said guests were like family. And that's just how we felt every moment of our time at Dar Megdaz. Beyond the OUTSTANDING staff, Dar Megdaz is so lovely and comfortable. We appreciated the delicious and beautifully presented food, the serene covered outdoor patio overlooking the mountains, and the quiet, cool room--it was the heat of summer but our room in the basement stayed very cool. We also enjoyed Mohamed's tour of this picturesque Berber village. Cannot recommend this place more highly.
