This hostel is an excellent alternative for budget tourists due to its pleasant environment, friendly environment and convenient location. Highly recommended!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Namaste Home Stay is a recently renovated guest house situated in Dhulikhel, 30 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The homestay is in a perfect location, with only 15 minutes walk to Thrangu Tashi Yangtse monastery. The view of the surrounding hills and villages was spectacular. The homestay staff was very attentive and provided authentic tasty food. The guy from the UK took us to look around the villages and introduced the meaningful innovative program to install water tank and pipeline for the village inhabitants. The unique experience brough us a closer look to the life of the local Tamang people.

Super friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing! We’ve stayed three times and it’s been great every time. Would recommend to anybody looking for a great place in the historic part of Bhaktapur.

Shekhar and his place were fantastic. Though my room was on the small side it was perfect for my needs. It was clean and comfortable and I was made to feel at home. I stayed for about a week and was welcomed into Shekhar's world, including the local music scene and seeing a different, more vibrant, side to Bhaktapur than I had experienced during a previous 2 day visit. Shekhar rented me a mountain bike at a very reasonable price and went out of his way to make me feel comfortable.

Manager & team even guided me through my long-term visa application process. Everything is well organised, rooms are spotlessly clean & tidy. Delicious food from hotel kitchen is either catered in a lovely green garden enclosure, the lounge or served in your own room. I will always love to come back!
