Room was nice and bed comfort.

This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The place is lovely, the igloo was super cute, you have everything you need, very cosy! The staff super friendly and very helpful! It’s a good location as well!

Arctic Colors Northern Lights Apartments features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Porjus. Featuring luggage storage space, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The apartment has family rooms. This apartment was super cozy. The living area and rooms were comfortable, especially the bed. The huge windows overlooking the lake was great especially for northern lights viewing. The hosts were accommodating to my requests and even messages me one evening to tell me the northern lights were happening. Would definitely stay here again!

Set in Riksgränsen, 43 km from Ofoten Museum, Niehku Mountain Villa offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation provides ski storage space, as well as a bar and massage services. The property has a sauna and free WiFi. Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

Boasting a sauna, Lovely house in Abisko is situated in Abisko. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, the non-smoking country house features a sauna. Lovely house as stated in the ad. 5 minute walk from and to the train stations. Super convenient to reach. Also only 5 minutes to the supermarket. The sauna was our highlight. Easy to use and really fun to use. Bedrooms, living room and kitchen are well equipped and comfy.

Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situated 5.7 km from Kiruna Train Station, Scandic Kiruna offers 4-star accommodation in Kiruna and has a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has free bikes, as well as a fitness centre and a sauna. The property is non-smoking and is set 3.7 km from Kiruna Bus Station. Very comfortable lobby space, good-view sauna and best location(access from airport, bus and shopping).

The area around the property is popular for outdoor winter activities such as dog sledding, reindeer sled excursions, and snowmobile tours. The staff will also be happy to arrange activities such as river rafting, hiking, and fishing. During summer season, guests will experience midnight sun. In the winter, guests can enjoy northern lights if lucky. We’re huge fans of this hotel. Over the past year, we’ve stayed three times and have experienced every type of room they offer. For adventure lovers, it’s simply fantastic. This time, we came especially for river rafting and gravel biking to enjoy Kiruna’s summer. Compared to the winter season, the atmosphere was much quieter, with a completely different vibe. It almost feels like you have the entire hotel to yourself—which is incredible. When it comes to the rooms, if you’re mainly there for the tours, any option will do. But if you’ve never stayed in an ice room, it’s an absolute must. Since we had already tried both the Deluxe and Art Suites before, this time we opted for a warm room(kamoos hotel room) , which worked perfectly. Before we stayed in a kamoos deluxe warm room and comparing to that, only significant difference was the comfiness of the bed. Pillows and mattress could be better. Also there was no mini fridge. Again, since we were out all day long for tours, -except the mattress- those didnt matter to us. Breakfast, as always, was fantastic. They’ve even added vegan bread—kudos to the chef, it was excellent. The dinner menu was the same as in winter: pricey, but absolutely delicious. Staff is amazing as always, we seen some familiar faces from our previous stays. Mostly they are working seasonal i guess but all of them are sharing the same passion. Overall, it’s a wonderful place both in winter and summer, but in my opinion, the real highlight is the tours. They are the perfect way to discover the North, immerse yourself in the culture, and experience the wilderness. So far, every guide we’ve had has been outstanding. I believe if we join few more tours, they will convince us to move to Kiruna :)

The Aurora Spa can be accessed for a surcharge. Ski tracks and hiking trails are right next door. Snowmobiling, ice fishing and dog sledding are popular in winter. Summer leisure options include horse riding, guided city tours and hiking. On the edge of the city, there is less light pollution, but it is a pity that the Aurora can not be seen in the heavy rain.
