Free Wi-Fi is available. Guests can borrow a boat to cruise in the water lily lake for free. The Rabbit Bungalow was perfect. There's only a few cheap hostels/bungalows on Koh Phayam. This place should be so much more expensive. It's right across from a beautiful beach with areas you can have to yourself. There's tons of hammocks surrounded by trees and sun. The rooms are spacious and comfy with giant lockers to keep probably 3 85L backpacks :) The staff are so friendly. The owner is the best, he'll remember your name, give you suggestions, and more. Amazing place definitely stay here.

I can highly recommend the big house for those in search of peace, nature, simplicity. Thailand as it once was. Basic though, but it has to be so to perfectly fit in the surroundings.

The water here is flat no rocks and perfect for small kids. The staff are lovely people and Khow prepares delicious food. The bungalows are very rustic and past their prime but the price reflects that. There are many options on Ko Phayam however this suited our budget as we have a five week stay in Thailand. Earliest happy hour that we saw starts at 3pm with big Chang beer for 90baht, you won’t find it cheaper. High quality ETE ice cream was a hit with the kids with many flavours to choose from. I am an ice cream snob so I can vouch for it. Our two kids had never been to the sea before and the jungle critters had them freaked at first but they loved the dogs which they are normally quite wary of. We stayed here for a week and are sad to have left. I definitely can recommend Baan Suaan Kayoo.
