The shady patio behind the house has comfortable seating and lovely plantings. Every detail has been carefully planned. The hosts, especially Ines, are extremely helpful and hospitable; they even went to Carrefour to buy beer for me! The location is excellent. The Medina is not far and there are several good restaurants, cafes and shops all within a couple of minutes walk.

Such a wonderful family who were incredibly welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. Fatima is a wonderful cook so we chose to have dinner every night at the house, the food was exceptional. Helped us arrange activities in the local area and gave us some great tips. Hope we can come back one day!

Comfortable outdoor lounge area downstairs and very helpful staff. The guesthouse also offers guided tours and we can highly recommend Said if you like high speed desert adventures! Really the highlight of our stay. It’s a bit far to the city centre if you don’t have a car, about 30min, but if you’re looking for something a bit cheaper in Touzeur we can definitely recommend it!

Villa touareg is a recently renovated villa in Tozeur, where guests can makes the most of its rooftop pool, garden and bar. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation features a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. The house you rent is aboslutely enormous and very isolated. The host was very friendly and forthcoming and even provided us with firewood to start the fireplace. We were not able to use the pools since it was quite cold during that time.

So much so, that after our first night, we booked to stay longer. We were greeted warmly on arrival by the owner, who told us some history of the property and showed us to our suite, which we were kindly upgraded to due to availability. The dates and oranges delivered to the room shortly after our arrival demonstrated their kind hospitality that we experienced during our stay. The property is clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed the comfy bed and the bathroom/shower, which we found to be the best we came across in our travels through Tunisia. The room was bright and airy, and the blackout shutters blocked out any street noises and light at night. We also appreciated that the host was available throughout our stay for local recommendations. Would love to return!
