FranceIt's rare I take the time to review a hotel but this was one of my favourite hotels I have stayed in. Service from everyone was exceptional - so friendly and wanting to help out. The room was great with a big bath and a nice wooden floor and even a kitchen area if you wanted but I would recommend the half board option as it was a bargain for the extra price. There was a great hike possible from the hotel - just turn into the tunnel and it's directly at the other side. A nice climb following a mountain stream (blueberries in abundance!). Parking outside was really easy - lots of space and free of charge. Great hotel!

FranceWhen I checked in, the receptionist found out that it was my birthday and sent us a bottle of kava. It was very nice. The hotel itself is big and beautiful. The room has everything you need.
And also, if you want, you can book a spa - 15 euros per hour, as well as various types of massages from 45 euros. If you plan to visit them, it is better to book in advance. Because in our case it was impossible to get there at the right time.
The hotel also has a Bowling, slot machines, a restaurant, and a bar. There will always be something to do. The ski lift is nearby, which was also very convenient.

I was there for the World MTB championships and the organisation for getting to and from the bike park was excellent. There were plenty of buses available to the gondola to access the bike park. Small very quite village in between more lively Arinsal and La Massana each only a half hour or so walk away. Handy free places to park if you wanted to explore the walking tracks. Easy base to drive to other locations. There seems to be some road improvements being configured that should improve the access but neither of the works to the North to Arinsal or South to La Massana are causing or look likely to any disruption to existing traffic flows.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old.
Family ski trip with a 8 and 6 year old. The resort is very good for beginners and intermediates. Everyone working here in all areas seemed friendly. We all had ski school which was all at the same time and oddly morning four hours lessons were split to 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-16:00. This meant a lot of time was wasted dropping off kids and getting to lessons/waiting for people to arrive as it was twice per day. And we couldn't really go do anything else if we wanted to attend the afternoon hour lesson. Our instructors were all very good during the lessons though. We also paid for lockers at the top of the gondola but they didn't open till 15 minutes before lessons started 5 minutes away, resulting in a mad rush of lots of people trying to get ski boots on in a small space all at the same time. The resort was not that busy when we were there, but the bars/restaurants on the slopes filled very quickly and it was often a wait to get a table for lunch. WE LOVE ERTS AS YOU HAVE A RELATIVELY PEACEFUL AREA BUT WITH EASY ACCESS TO ARINSAL FOR SKI HIRE, A SUPERMARKET,BARS AND RESTAURANTS. WE SKI AT ARCALIS WHICH IS 18 KM FROM THE HOTEL IN ERTS. ACCESS TO VALLNORD (ARINSAL & PAL) IS EASY FOR THOSE WANTING TO SKI IN THESE TWO RESORTS. Great resort for skiing at a beginner/intermediate level. Beginners will blossom with fantastic ski schools. Intermediates can ski in Arinsal and take the gondola across to Pal on the other side of the mountain so more choice of skiing. Great bars and food in the restaurants is excellent. La Massana is a nice base for exploring Andorra if you want to be outside of ALV (whch is only a 15 minute drive). It's got a good selection of restaurants and shops, and it's easy to get around to see the rest of the country from there.
