Fabulous historical city with everything nearby.
Fabulous historical city with everything nearby. Ferry service to islands is easy. Highly recommend a walk up the Marian Steps to enjoy the incredible view. Quaint eateries and bars tucked down alleyways, Teak was outstanding in service and food. Promenade is nice but very crowded. Great market for fresh fruit & vege.Guest review byJOSNew Zealand - 10.0

We stayed in the Old Tow , so really only explored that area. Amazing place to visit with lots of places to see and do. Lots of boat trips to the islands available, which are well worth doing. The restaurant at bottom of the main steps called Koloseum is very friendly with good food and a nice atmosphereGuest review byBrianStUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Zadar has so much to offer — from narrow, charming streets full of cafés and restaurants serving delicious food and good music (like Rock Caffe), to interesting interiors, lovely beaches, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and parks. There’s also a wide range of organized boat trips to national parks, public transportation (though often delayed), and ferry connections to Ugljan Island and beyond.Guest review byIwonaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic...
Budva, like the other cities in Montenegro, is a fantastic place, nice beaches, a very beautiful old town, has a lot of water activities and night life is brimming . It is indeed a destination worthy of travelling for both young and old. Just be ready with lots cash because most of the shops and restaurants there only accepts cash. There are ATMs everywhere but there are charges. Transportation wise, if you are just in Budva, everything is walking distance, going to the beach or the old town, there are just minutes away. But, if you want to visit other places, taking a bus is the most effective way, it's cheaper than taking a taxi where the driver will ask a ridiculous price. Just go to the bus station and buy the tickets there in cash, don't buy them online because once you arrive at the bus station, they will ask you to print it otherwise it's null and void, they have printing servie there but it's gonna be another pay (1 euro per print).Guest review byMurphy JohnUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly!
Know where you are going and evaluate it accordingly! Durres is a city that is developing at a rapid pace, including the coast, the port and the city. The coastal promenade began to be transformed in 2022 and it turned out beautifully! It has one shortcoming, there is no garbage collector anywhere by the sidewalk, despite this, there is no garbage anywhere. Along the coast, you can still see the buildings left from the 19th century fishing village, some of them are still inhabited (!), in some places there is still a pile of garbage, beggars walk around in the evening, but the sea is fine, the transformation of the coast was very successful. Getting into the city from the hotel row by bus is inconvenient. It is nice to see how the city and the coast are completely transformed and modernized over the years. In 2025, three new hotels will be built on the hotel row, within a kilometer, and the handover is scheduled for 2026. Let's take a look! The food is pretty much the same everywhere, good, as are the prices, but the hospitality at the DELFINI restaurant is excellent! The people are nice and friendly. The traffic, oh my, you have to pay attention! The one whose car is ahead has priority. They honk, but despite that, they are patient and understanding with foreigners. In previous years, there was a concrete-lined beach area in front of some hotels, which was being cleaned up. Unfortunately, the concrete pieces can still be found underwater, which is very unpleasant to step on. Beachgoers throw the concrete pieces onto the beach, and the garbage truck takes them away the next morning. It would be nice to sift this out with a machine! In Italy, we saw a tractor that sifted and cleaned not only the beach sand, but also the sand in the shallow water. It should be done here, too!Guest review byJózsefHungary - 10.0
The Bay of Kotor is stunning.
The Bay of Kotor is stunning. The Old Town is lovely to walk around. Just time your visit to the old town to avoid the cruise ships!. The cable car is a experience you and get the tickets & the shuttle bus from the bus station, the price is 30 euros pp which includes shuttle & cable car. If you need a taxi to take you home from the old town is costs 10 euros, agree a price with the driver.Guest review byMariaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Pula is a lovely, surprising destination.
Pula is a lovely, surprising destination. A working port that also has a stunning coastline. The old town is like a mini Rome complete with an intact roman arena. People are friendly and the small city has a nice cosmopolitan feel. Public transport is easy to use and has an extensive network. Destined to become more popular, so go see it now!Guest review byskids64United Kingdom - 10.0

Rovinj is a beautiful city where walking around is a true pleasure. There is so much to see, and I highly recommend it. The city is exceptionally clean, with friendly people, and hospitality deserves every praise. Definitely a place to visit—you won’t regret it. The restaurants are affordable and the food is wonderful. In every restaurant we visited, the staff was very kind and welcoming. It’s extremely easy to get around the city, and after the first day, we didn’t even need to use Google MapsGuest review byStefan - 10.0
