I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The price was very reasonable, and the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach. The beach area is absolutely stunning! It exceed our expectations! Our room had the nicest views (we booked ocean view), food was delicious, the ambiance at Batos was very cool at night, so there is no need to leave the hotel to look for something to do at night. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Vlöre, and if road-tripping around Albania, I highly recommend making a stop in this hotel.

This hotel is simply amazing - starting from the amazing location just 5-10 minutes walk from the sea & city center and the great modern rooms, we loved it. Dinner menu a bit on fine dining side. more locale food just 100m walking. clean rooms , fantastic spa available and even underground parking. excellent breakfast. Himare city just 10 min away and 5 min to Himare castle (stunning views)

Everything was very beautiful and the architecture is really unique and interesting. The location is next to the sea with a private beach for the hotel. The apartment was very spacious with three amazing bathrooms, comfortable sofa in the living room and two very spacious bathrooms.

We spent (again) 2 months just after the Busy season, and it fullfills all our expectations. Year after Year, Albanian infrastructure gets better, and this year i was pleased and surprised to see a lot of fellow french citizens as I am. I am a spearo so I definetely found everything i was looking for. All the Vlore Bay is amazing, for having dived the whole shore during these months, and on the way to Orikum you wiill find interesting local and huge restaurants, between beautiful residences litterallly on the beach. Albania is walking with steps of a Giant, and i am every year happier to how it becomes.

Sarande has nice beach. The have boat trips from there. It's hilly in lots of places. The weather was great when we were there in September. There's public transport from Tirana to Sarande. You can book ticket online or pay at the station. The seats are numbered and they were strict about that. Sarande is a good base to visit other places some of which are accessible by public transport. There were lots of restaurants. If you are in self catering there are supermarkets but also little shops you can get drinks and snacks.

Ksamil is emerging as a tourist destination & the centre of the town at least seems to have opted to cater for those who prefer loud music / water activities on the beaches. That said, there is a good selection of bars & restaurants both in the centre of the town and on the main road into it. The hotel in which we stayed (Area Hotel) was excellent. Public transport is ok - there is a bus every 30 mins to Sarande or Butrint BUT it is packed & an experience in itself! Fares are 150 Lek (1.5 euro) each way. Taxis are available but cost approx 30 euro each way. Although card payment is accepted in most restaurants / hotels etc, it seems as though cash is king in Albania. Local currency (Lek) can be accessed once you're in the country by changing euro at one of the many exchanges.

Didn't feel like Albania - very nice spacious beach with a shallow calm sea. Some areas are developed and others are not, covered in rubbish and derelict buildings. Lots of shops selling all you need.

It's a great place to relax, do nothing, and enjoy the beach, followed by local restaurants and a stroll along the small promenade. Sometimes there are beautiful sunsets. Boat trips are also available.

The owner was very responsive.

The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.

Loved exploring the nature at Divjake-Karavasta National Park and the lagoon. We also used a rented bike to follow the trails in the forest. There are also several hiking trails you could do. Definitely worth the visit!

We hired electric bikes and rode across the city, which has lots of historical sites. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food is also amazing here. There are local homemade foods too. We came in September and it was still warm enough to tan but not so hot you couldn’t enjoy walking or exercising.
