- From $638.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 274 reviewsWe had an absolutely wonderful stay. From the moment we arrived, the warm, attentive staff made us feel right at home—truly “bombastic” in the best possible way. The spa is simply magnificent, offering the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Just steps from the hotel, a magical forest beckons you for a peaceful morning walk. We were also delighted by the dedicated sports and yoga area, thoughtfully designed to help you reconnect with yourself. Everywhere you look, the hotel’s care and attention to detail shine through. As their slogan promises, it really is “Hard to find, hard to forget.” An exceptional place to unplug, unwind, and recharge—highly recommended! A huge thank you to the owners for their care and for this place!Guest review byDmitriiRussia

The hotel is amazing, the view cannot be captured by any photos. A luxurious hotel, yet the elegance is not extravagant. The staff is amazing, never seen such a willingness to help and serve, they are so nice I cannot find the words. The breakfast is amazing, the infinity pool is breathtaking, and the view and location are amazing. One of the best hotels I've been to. Felt like home and I miss it already. Looking forward to my next time there.Guest review byArielIsrael

I liked the slower pace of Salzburg compared to other major tourist European cities. The vibe is friendly but a bit more laid back. It is a very walkable city but has so much to offer. It is very historic not just because of the famous movie sound of music, which made it more popular all over the world. It is after all the birthplace of Mozart. Nature lovers will definitely appreciate the rolling hills and mountains and the quaint villages not far from the city centre. Salzburg is a very safe destination for solo travellers but it will be more fun visiting it with someone who shares common interests.Guest review byCatherineAustralia - 10.0

Loved walking the town and viewing the gardens and churches. Had planned to go up into the mountains but day was overcast so just wandered around the town. We did go to a Tyrolean musical evening that was very fun!Guest review byLucindaUnited States - 10.0
Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels.
Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels. The views were amazing (I’ve never seen 30+ paragliders in the sky…in the ALPs no less!!!), the area was so quaint, the locals friendly; and eating Swiss fondue somehow tastes better from the Alps! Highky recommend cappuccino and breakfast at the Aarburg (Tim & His Wife are awesome & The food not only tastes amazing but each dish is a work of art!) and the Boutique Hotel Bellevue.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0

A great place to visit. Lots of things to see and do. The Gornergrat train was superb with spectacular views of The Matterhorn. Walked to The Gorner Gorge and then along it. Great walk with fabulous views.Guest review byAmandaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The walk around the lake is great to do either way.
The walk around the lake is great to do either way. A visit to the castle is a must. Vintgar Gorge is stunning and the walk back into Bled is easy to follow. Definitely visit Bohinj area whilst staying in Bled. You can’t cycle around the lake however the walk is lovely and you can get the electric boat back across the lake as an option. A fabulous place to visit!Guest review byJane BooAustralia - 8.0

A lovely town filled with shops and restaurants on the edge of a stunning lake. A great place to take a boat ride to nearby towns, go for walks or enjoy the lake with nice restaurants and shops. There are two gondolas nearby and it's a short train ride to the castles of Bellinzona or the activities near Monte Tamaro. A boat ride to Gandria is also lovely, as is the walk back to Lugano.Guest review byAmieeSwitzerland - 10.0

It is a great place to visit. the view on Mont Blanc was impressive. you have to be lucky to get up Aiguille de Midi as access is totally depending on weather conditions. Tourist office is extremely helpful. Lots of places to eat a big variety of food. We stayed for 3-1/2 days mostly hiking in the area in mid-August. Many tourists but manageable. Strongly, strongly suggest buying the Jungfrau Pass so you can access any trains, buses, and cable cars in the entire area. It makes it so easy to get around Grindelwald, Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, First, and the Eiger. We should have booked a 5 day stay as there were some other hikes and attractions we wanted to take and see. Definitely go to Glacier Canyon and walk it to the end, but take warm clothes as the canyon is quite cool even in August due to the glacial runoff. And for sure visit the base of the Eiger. Suggest you also always get up early and get transport to your destination as late mornings (August) can be very busy and cause long lines.Guest review byParkerUnited States - 10.0

Would like to go back prepared to do the walks and hikes in the area. The old city and market were charming. Loved the Archeology museum and learning about Otzi the Iceman. Cable car and train a great introduction to the possibilities available for future visits.Guest review byKellyCanada - 10.0

This is one of those towns you need to keep coming back to. We love GP for a weekend getaway. We always ride the train in and get around by foot (or bus) after we're there. Go in every season...there's always something wonderful to experience.Guest review bynivmanGermany
