Breakfast was really good. They make great omelets to order. Location was out of this world. I was recommended to take a hike the next morning and we walked to a lake and a snow cave with a beautiful waterfall. We could have continued to hike for days in the area.

This was a great place to stay when on a road trip. Staff were friendly and helpful and check in easy. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was a surprise. The cuisine was outstanding. Compliments to the Chef. I would visit again just to eat in the restaurant! There was plenty of parking. We enjoyed our short stay here and would stay again.

    The house is absolutely stunning. Our "apartment" was beautifully decorated with expensive fittings and the woodwork just beautiful. We didn't have breakfast as we specifically chose our accommodation so as we could self cater. Appliances and utensils all supplied and to a very high standard. Lake Fuschal itself is stunning, simply gorgeous, clean, well kept and picture postcard. The public "beach" with pool and lake swimming is just perfect in every way, the town has some lovely restaurants and is spotlessly clean. 40 minute bus ride to Salzburg and 10 to St Gilgen. Highly recommend both Haus Bergblick and Lake Fuschal.

    Great place, big and prettily decorated room with balcony, there is a mini fridge in the room, and seemed to be a small kitchenette in the guest area with microwave, kettel and even some tea (we didn't try this, but seemed nice). The parking is wide, and the property is just a few meters from the lake. Very tasty breakfast and nice owners :) The pillows are on the thinner side, but there are some extra small ones around to help make everything work :)

    Breakfast was really amazing, even vegan options and vegan milk were available. People working in this place are just amazing! There is also a private access to the lake, which is great btw and you would definitely need it, because a big chunk of the lake shore is bought privately. This beach is very nicely organised and a wooden pier is really great!

    - friendly and welcoming host. - the apartment was clean with nice furniture and the kitchen was fully equipped with utensils and cutleries. - the location is excellent as it’s closed to the centre of Salzburg (around 30 mins) and Hallstatt (50 mins) and much closer to Wolfgangsee. - the pension has a private access to Fuschlsee.

    Beautiful scenery and the views across the lake are amazing. Limited supermarket facilities and quite expensive - worth shopping further afield if you have a car. Check restaurant opening times as some were closed when you might expect them to be open, and make a reservation during busy seasons (school holidays) !

    The Hof bei Salzburg itself is a beautiful peasefull village, very calm and quiet. Lots of supermarkets and DM store available and located in the village. In the evening after 7 pm everithing pretty closed, so make your shopping in advance.

    Ebenau is a quiet village in a lush, narrow valley with thick forests around. It's a great place for hiking with many well-marked forest trails. There are small lakes nearby, which seem ideal for relaxing an recharging.

    Nice place for trips around the lake and to the mountains. The village has many restaurants and shops. Burgruine Wartenfels is worth seeing, especially for amazing views of the landscape, lakes and mountains.

    Very comfortable quiet room with excellent bed. Gorgeous views over golf course and a portion of the Lake. Would have liked a small nespresso machine or similar as no coffee making facilities in the room. Otherwise it was a superb choice and we loved every minute of it.

    Fuschl is a little off the best track but so quiet and peaceful. You will need some transport to get around and see the sights as the whole area is stunning. Fushl is lovely to visit, also St Gilgen where are at Brunetti'. The likes and walks are great as accessible and a fry your is a must. The restaurant Gamsjaga comes highly recommend and as a beautiful view over the lake.

    This hof is like no other hof I've ever seen. The lush green beauty is too tempting to look away from. Also, please do take a trip to Halstatt for a day to visit the salt mine and ride the funicular.
