The retro design of the place is indeed notable. I found myself pondering whether keeping the original hardwood furniture and bathroom tiles from the 80s could be seen as a form of sustainability. One highlight was the breakfast, which featured delicious fresh bakery items and perfectly boiled eggs—definitely a treat! Unfortunately, I had a mishap on the first day and broke my arm. After returning from the hospital in the evening, I was exhausted and hungry. I appreciated that my Wiener schnitzel was cut by the waiter immediately after it was served, and when I expressed a desire for something sweet, the staff kindly made Kaiserschmarnie for me, which was a lovely gesture.Guest review byJuditHungary

The environment is quiet and calm, the room faced partly trees as well. The furnishing was also nice, the room was ok for two adults and one child. It's a small and quite medieval-style town in the always beautiful Styria. It's well worth a visit. We stayed 2 nights just hiking in the surrounding area, but I understand it also has cultural offerings.
