Rene and Joyce were excellent hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Rene is an exceptional chef and the food was delicious. The bedroom overlooked the mountains and had a wonderful sunrise. We were made to feel at home and will definitely be back to our new friends. Exceptional stat and very sad to leave.

A special, family-run hotel. Great atmosphere and exceptional staff. We stayed with dinner and breakfast and they were wonderful, thoughtful and varied.     For a relatively small hotel, the breakfast was excellent. Good selection of bread, cheese, meat, vegetables, fruits, dairy, juice, coffee, tea, ... Best of all, the hostess daily prepares fresh eggs as per the guests' liking - I heartily recommend the scrambled eggs with cheese and tomato as well as the fried eggs and bacon. The location is perfect, with restaurants, bus stops and hikes all close by. Free parking spots on the hotel premises - the buses are frequent and free so you can leave your car parked during your stay. The hostess is unbelievably friendly and helpful, happy to chat and suggest activities suitable for any weather.

    Lovely hotel in quiet location on the outskirts of Holzgau. Children's play area to the front and a drinks terrace and sunbathing lawn. Very nice rooms but the absolutely outstanding feature was the food. Both the breakfast buffet and the 5 course evening meal were superb .Good parking.

    Our room was fabulous - not only was it very large but the walls were also lined with wood and the room smelled heavenly (like a wood shop). The owners were wonderful - even allowed us to go to breakfast early as we had to leave early. The location is beautiful.

    breath-taking views of mountains. Bach valley is so picture perfect. We went in mid-November...right before their ski season. Great hikes and mountain biking abound. Beautiful snowfall made the scenery even more perfect.

    Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays.

    Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays. There are several alms within an hour or two hiking, often through spectacular scenery. Height differences range from an easy 200 m to 400 m, or up to 700 m if you have more time and energy. The bus running along the valley allows you to make one-way walks, or to start a walk in a different village. The river Lech is also a peaceful refuge, and it is very pleasant just to sit on a bench or rock beside the river and enjoy the sounds and sights.

Everything was absolutely perfect—from the welcoming and friendly service to the comfortable and spotless rooms. The location was ideal, providing easy access to local attractions while still offering a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. All the amenities were top-notch, and I felt truly at home throughout my stay.
