- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 482 reviewsThe hotel breakfast was excellent, plenty of quality food, for all taste. The staff was extremely polite, always asking if everything was ok, trying to satisfy all your needs. Dinner was also outstanding food quality and presentation, with discrete fine-dinning touches. Congrats to the chef! The reception staff was also very friendly, giving us all the necessary information we needed for ours stay and they were extremely efficient on the last morning when we did the check-out. As an improvement, maybe the receptionist should state it more clearly how to get to the hotel ski room without using the main entrance in the hotel. We had to figure this out by ourselves following other tourists in the hotel, but it was fun for us to find this trick that we will use next time :)Guest review byMihaiRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very Good - What previous guests thought, 371 reviewsWe stayed in a family suite which was clean, modern, great size room (given we had 2 children too) and very much to our taste. The food varied every night and replenished quickly. The facilities for Children are fantastic and even after hours of skiing all they wanted to do was play in the football area, ball pit or indoor play. Outdoor pool temperature was a great surprise, VERY warm and just what we needed after a days skiing. Ski room with dedicated locker to leave all the gear. Staff were friendly and approachable throughout our stay.Guest review byStevenUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 320 reviewsThe hotel is excellent!! Great for adults and children. The pools area, the room, the whole hotel!! We took the hotel boat in the lake which was very relaxing. There is a children outside area with bikes, horses, alpacas, trampoline, omega, soccer and much more. We had so much fun and will definitely come back.Guest review byTonyIsrael

I liked the slower pace of Salzburg compared to other major tourist European cities. The vibe is friendly but a bit more laid back. It is a very walkable city but has so much to offer. It is very historic not just because of the famous movie sound of music, which made it more popular all over the world. It is after all the birthplace of Mozart. Nature lovers will definitely appreciate the rolling hills and mountains and the quaint villages not far from the city centre. Salzburg is a very safe destination for solo travellers but it will be more fun visiting it with someone who shares common interests.Guest review byCatherineAustralia - 10.0

Great location and view of the lake, but wished we had booked a room with a balcony and view. Room and facilities were very clean. A bit impersonal as there was no staff in the evening but overall great stay.Guest review byAdalineFrance - 10.0

Stayed at ever grün KAPRUN and the experience was absolutely amazing! Everything was excellent — the staff were super friendly, the food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were served as a well-organized buffet. The place was clean with breathtaking views. A very beautiful destination, we were alone on the mountain ridges most of the time. We would definitely like to return. For swimming, we recommend the lake in Zell am See rather than the local swimming pool, which is quite small and completely crowded.Guest review byMartinaCzech Republic - 10.0

I loved Bad Gastein’s mix of Belle Époque elegance and wild mountain scenery. Mornings meant hiking and cable-car views; afternoons were for soaking in the thermal waters; evenings, cozy bars and great food. The waterfall running through town gives the whole place a dramatic energy. It felt like stepping back in time without losing modern comfort—truly a memorable stay.Guest review byLillianUnited States - 8.0
A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something.
A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something. Accessibility of services (hiking, lifts, restaurants) was a bit confusing. Many services did not have clear English instructions/price lists/online shops. The Tyrolean region summer card seemed to give you a much wider range of services than the Salzburger region.Guest review byReijoFinland - 8.0

It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!Guest review byCarolynUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer holiday, and with every visit it gets a bigger space in my heart. Plenty of memories, plenty of relaxation, plenty of beautiful and peaceful sceneries, and every year people are being nicer and sweeter. The town keeps developing and renovating that can be noticed in every visit.Guest review byBasmaUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Sankt Johann is a clean and beautiful town with gorgeous views of the mountains. Walked to visit the town center for breakfast at Bäckerei-Cafe-Konditorei Bauer. We visited Liechtensteinklamm just before they closed. It was the best time to visit the gorge.Guest review byPK&RuthyUnited States - 8.0
