I had a 19 hour layover between connecting flights , and the hotel had the perfect location for this purpose . The room was big enough for 2 adults , the bathroom facilities were spacious and the beds were comfortable , therefore I was well rested the following morning .The dining room on the main floor served good quality food and tasted good , I chose the all you can eat buffet . Baden is a beautiful city, located just outside Vienna, with thermal pools for every season. It has small streets reminiscent of Italian towns and plenty of interesting and delicious restaurants. Vosendorf was conveniently situated to take tram into city centre. Conveniently the Hotel Pyramide was within walking distance from the SCS Westfield shopping centre and the tram stop, connecting to both City centre to the north and Baden town in south. Although quite an urban area it has developed into a commercial region for business whilst retaining the green areas around. Baden is a spa town & was well worth a visit as it has a pedestrianised zone. Beautiful parks leading into the Vienna woods and clean paved streets containing individual boutiques and small shops of every type & buildings painted in contrasting colours. Nice Hotel in a quiet area close to all the shops and restaurants. There is a fuel station across the road with a convenience shop. The hotel had nice safe parking. Rooms where nice and big and clean and comfortable beds. The staff was really nice and breakfast was good as my son was playing in a tennis tournament there and needed a good breakfast.
