We are from Austria so we did a quick weekend getaway. Visited the Prater and the Ikono interactive museum. Prater was good. Since the weather was a little cold, it was less crowded. Found it difficult to park our car since almost all the Parkgarages were full. So highly recommend to take the U-Bahn. Ikono was ok. Might be interesting for small kids like around 5 years. Vienna is quite compact and easy to get around.
Vienna is quite compact and easy to get around. Activities range from cultural classical concerts to fairground rides almost within walking distance of each other! Particularly liked Cafe Vollpension in Schleifmuhlgasse (near Naschmarkt), Edlingers Tempel restaurant in Praterstrasse and Schone Perle restaurant in Grosse Pfarrgasse.
