I had the privilege of enjoying it on two separate occasions, and to my delight, I had the entire sauna to myself. Adjacent to the sauna, there is a cozy relaxation room where one can comfortably sit or recline. Moreover, outside the relaxation room, amidst lush greenery, there is a charming setup consisting of a table and a pair of chairs. The hotel's location is exceptionally convenient, only a 5-minute walk from the Central train station. The staff members are genuinely friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service at both the reception desk (even during late hours) and the bar. During my visit to the bar, I ordered tea to take back to my room, and to my surprise, I received a tastefully presented teapot with a ceramic mug, along with a delightful and flavorsome tea. The hotel, as a whole, possesses a unique charm, evident in its meticulous attention to detail (such as the fully soundproofed restroom) and its intriguing history of inception. We are from Austria so we did a quick weekend getaway. Visited the Prater and the Ikono interactive museum. Prater was good. Since the weather was a little cold, it was less crowded. Found it difficult to park our car since almost all the Parkgarages were full. So highly recommend to take the U-Bahn. Ikono was ok. Might be interesting for small kids like around 5 years. Vienna is quite compact and easy to get around. Activities range from cultural classical concerts to fairground rides almost within walking distance of each other! Particularly liked Cafe Vollpension in Schleifmuhlgasse (near Naschmarkt), Edlingers Tempel restaurant in Praterstrasse and Schone Perle restaurant in Grosse Pfarrgasse.
