Very kind and helpful ladies at the reception desk. Hotel was very nice, pool and sauna superb. Breakfast fantastic. Location - very close to city center (walking distance) coffee machine at the reception at all times with very good coffee. We had the two room studio, enough room for 2 adults with two little kids(2,4). Fully equipped kitchen with really everything you need. We will definitely be coming back whenever we are headed that way.

Everything is perfectly designed for families with children—there are so many activities and entertainment options that our kids were never bored for a second. The restaurant is excellent, offering delicious food for every taste, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic. We truly appreciated how every detail was thought out for family comfort and fun.     -Summercard is a PLUS! Although we only stayed for one day, it saved us the cost of the hotel itself! Just a pity that we visited the High Reservoirs before knowing this, or the savings would be even more. -Breakfast -Room in general, with balcony, was well maintained and everything working. -Separate toilet and shower, is nice when staying with 3 people. -Plenty of parking space

Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

    Calm little village with perfect location as starting point for skiing in 3 ski resorts included in Saalbach SkiCircus. Nothing to do in the evening, so it's not for the night life, but I did saw one night club with young people going out late, and the is Zell am See 8 minutes by car! There is also SPAR market in the center.

    You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of...

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.
