- From US$214.39 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 3,409 reviewsOMG - I love this hotel! From the minute we arrived, we were so warmly greeted by staff and it was just fantastic til the moment we left! Old fashioned (but refurbished!) hotel right near the centre of town... five minutes walk if you take the pathway. The room was huge and fabulous! It even had a couch... Friendly and helpful staff Room was quiet Beds were so comfy No elevators but stairs are fine Dinner with a view and food was delicious and it was so nice just being able to walk up to your room after your meal... But we didn't - because there was also a proper bar with a proper piano man playing music all night long - so wonderful! We listened right to the end. We have never done this before and had no idea how enjoyable this can be. Lovely huge lounge Plenty of parking on site Competitive rates with the other properties in Katoomba - so happy we chose to stay here as was a just an all-round experience like what you see in the old movies!Guest review byDVatican City
- From US$148.94 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,883 reviewsPersonally, there are no downsides to this place as a chill family retreat. It is super near the Jamison and Wenworth falls lookout where you can do a short stroll or jog for relaxation. It is very quiet and nice too! (These lookouts are also areas for stargazing at night) The apartment itself is very cozy, modern and nice! (Very spacious too). Great reception, reception opening hours and hospitality. :) Great place away from the fast paced city life, highway streets and good area to embrace nature.Guest review byPeySingapore

We haven't been for awhile so it was great to see the changes for the better re Three Sisters. Katoomba seems to be losing a lot of their interesting shops. The street art could with a tidy up and some new pieces in Beverley Street. Good to see more of it around. We went to the art gallery in their library and had an interesting visit. Good views outside there too.Japanese restaurant near the laneway on main street had wonderful food.Guest review byYuleyAustralia - 10.0

Leura is very beautiful...the whole area of the Blue Mountains is just lovely. We loved popping into the retail stores and checking out and purchasing what I don't have in the area in which I call home. I recommend for a hearty meal the Cafe & Deli in Leura was delicious. For a special treat the Hotel Majestic in Meadlow Bath for high tea. And a visit to the Mountains isn't complete without a trip to Scenic World.Guest review byKym DowAustralia - 8.0
Lithgow is very under rated.
Lithgow is very under rated. There are many things to do and some of the lookouts have fantastic views. Just do your homework before you get there and get the large tourist map which highlights all the things you can see - it is fantastic.Guest review byGaryAustralia - 8.0

Always a lovely town to visit - spectacular Rhododendrons Garden - nearby Mt Wilson Private Gardens even more beautiful and extensive. Wait until mid October for peak flowering though you'll miss the daffodils by then.Guest review byGuyAustralia - 8.0

A quiet country town, just starting to recover after closure of coal-fired power station. Local people are very friendly and always offer assistance when asked. Wallerawang has a couple of pubs and a lakeside park ideal for BBQs. It is a good stay location for access to Rydal (daffodils), Lake Lyell, The Capertee Valley (Garden of Stone), Lithgow and the Glow-Worm Tunnel. Could even stop-over here before proceeding on to Mudgee.Guest review byPeterAustralia - 10.0

The cleanliness and position of the property was spot on.
The cleanliness and position of the property was spot on. There were 5 of us with only 3 bedrooms so we didn't all get a bed to ourself. There is a separate cabin outside which would have suited a younger person as no bathroomGuest review byFayAustralia - 10.0

The property is modern on the inside, with well-appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and cosy shared sitting room. The breakfast was perfect and set us up for the day, with home-made yoghurt and muesli, warm croissants and muffins that arrive at your table in the comfortable lounge room. Views of the mountains make this a beautiful setting to enjoy a few days. We felt at peace from the inside out. Easy to find, well-lit even at night time. Added bonus: free wifi worked perfectly. One of my favourite ever places.Guest review byKaaronAustralia - 10.0
Mount Victoria is a great place to stay.
Mount Victoria is a great place to stay. Away from the crowds of Leura and Katoomba with lots of lovely walks nearby. Thoroughly recommend the Hydro Majestic Wintergarden for High Tea on a Sunday. The Grand Canyon walk near Blackheath is so pretty. Very busy walk (ie lots of other bushwalkers) but worth it for the prettiness of the walk. Could be challenging for some though.Guest review bySharonAustralia - 10.0
