+Motel room was superb: comfortable, high and large bed. The ensuite shower was strong. Room was really well equipped: Air con, ceiling fan, TV, kettle, toaster, fridge and crockery/cutlery so you could use the well equipped camp kitchen to cook your own meals
+There was lots of really comfortable outdoor seating and a swimming pool
+ Good laundry facilities
+Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Kadie remembered my name 😀
+On a Tuesday the park takes a table in the nearby pub so you can get to meet your fellow travelers and have a discount meal.
+Some fabulous beaches nearby and also some rainforest which has a boardwalk through it. Lovely small town too, felt authentic rather than touristy.

We stayed in "Bandicoot" cabin with our Greyhound. It was spacious with plenty of room for all of us. It had everything I needed for cooking a meal and the laundry was great. The grounds were great for the Greyhound to wander on leash and do his business and then have a lie down on the gated verandah of the cabin. The Clarence River was literally just across the road from the property and my husband spent the afternoon throwing a line.

Nicely presented and well proportioned two bed accommodation. Nice big lounge with equally as big kitchen dinner. We only stayed for one night as were on a road trip to Sydney however we’d definitely recommend a stop into Yamba and a stay at Carmel Yamba. Great for families with children and we could definitely have stayed for longer.

Loved the lodge, really cosy and comfortable. I would 100% recommend staying, got everything you need. Big communal bbq area which was very clean however can cook in the lodge too if needed. Location is so close to the beach and river also a little pub close by too. Very nice relaxing weekend in peaceful location.

Whilst some eateries represented quite good value others...
Whilst some eateries represented quite good value others were considerably overpriced and not good value for the dollar. Could not find a souvenir shop. But Yamba all things considered is a great little scenic getaway , so much history and so much to do and see.

We were there during the Jacaranda Festival, which was fun. It is a nice old town to walk around and relax. We spent the whole weekend walking and taking in the sites and the town. Lots of pubs to eat and drink at.

Maclean was a small nice town and it is really close to Yamba in NSW, recommend for a weekend short stay with family and friends, walk around this small town.
Recommend Botero Cafe & Roastery, their coffee and fruit & nut toast were super nice.

The Bowls club is huge with an amazing restaurant and short term membership
The local cafe has great coffee
The fish and chips were to die for at the shop
Suited for people that just want to relax without the hustle and bustle of major resorts
Ferry trip to Yamba was great as we had amazing weather

Wooli is a lovely little coastal village with a range of activities. You can enjoy fishing, boating, swimming in the river or surf, as well as many areas to explore. It is an hour to Coffs Harbour and 40 minutes to Grafton.
There is a great local hotel and bowling club as well as upmarket and casual cafes.

Awesome!!
Awesome!! will definitely want to stay with friends to explore the Clarence Valley. Found the Food Co for great coffee, took a walk around town, checked out the 2nd hand bookstore and filled up our fuel at the corner garage. Thanks Ulmarra!!

the beach was amazing and the fact you are surrounded by national parks and walks. It was a small town that has not changed for a life time and it is like going back in time but the area is amazing to see the accommodation I could not fault the owner also owns the general store the only place to get food in Brooms head and the accommodation is right on the water with some water views the apartment was spotless and well equipped and modern . Netflix ,prime and other networks are their for you to see. I felt at peace their and the owner has good vibes

Great country retreat. Very clean comfortable modern studio. Had lovely quiet A/c heating for winter. Our 2 small dogs loved their stay too. Large enclosed yard and country walks. Mike the host is a lovely, he kept to himself yet there if you needed him. Loved our stay. 20 min to town or enjoy the country location.

Beautiful area with bushland and beaches. great seafood and friendly locals.
best views are from the Pacific Hotel and the lighthouse.
