- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 206 reviews**Review of Treetops Montville** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Treetops Montville, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of the surroundings, making it a true nature lover's paradise. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday decorations that we had requested. It was such a delightful surprise to walk into our accommodation and find it beautifully adorned. It truly made the occasion feel special and memorable. The fridge was stocked with an impressive array of breakfast goodies and wine bottles—far more than I had ever encountered in any other holiday stay. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right at our fingertips, making our mornings leisurely and enjoyable. The location itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The soothing sounds of the nearby creek added a serene ambiance that made our stay even more relaxing. If you appreciate the beauty of nature, Treetops Montville is a must-visit destination. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature, offering a perfect blend of privacy and tranquility. It was the ideal spot to unwind and soak up the stunning surroundings. I am already planning my next holiday with Treetops Montville, as this experience has left me eager to return. If you're looking for a getaway that combines luxury, nature, and exceptional service, look no further than Treetops Montville. Highly recommended!Guest review bySonikaAustralia

And they made her Birthday super special. Everything was Perfect 10!!!!! There is a Japanese restaurant which is called Arakawa inside this property. The restaurant was also super good and after dinner they brought a birthday wish truffle chocolates with the candle and sung a birthday song for her. The night was Just spectacular. Also the morning buffet was incredibly fun to have. So many kinds of good foods, fruits and desserts are available. We recommend super strong to stay RACV Royal Pines Resort taking dinner at Arakawa restaurant and having breakfast at buffet!!!! Thank you for making our stay memorable. Much appreciate it.Guest review bySHIHOJapan

Walkable city, albeit great transport options with metro, busses and ferries. QPAC great for entertainment/shows. Southbank and city vibrant lighting at night, connected by good bridges great for pedestrians.Guest review byRPTJMTAustralia - 10
Beautiful beaches the whole way.
Beautiful beaches the whole way. Roads are busy but you can take the light rail and the bike paths are excellent. The surf clubs are excellent options for dining or drinks with an ocean view. Pacific fair in Broadbeach is an excellent and very large shopping mall for clothing especially. Lots of excellent restaurants, particularly in Broadbeach.Guest review byKeithAustralia - 10

We liked the Esplanade and the pool/lagoon which had entertainment for young and old at dusk. There are many restaurants to choose from and cater for anybody's taste. The Central Shopping Centre is also an ideal place to eat and it has many specialty shops for window shopping/buying. On a hot day it is a pleasant way of spending a few hours in the coolness of the Centre. There are also plenty of indoor attractions or tours in or around Cairns. That is the reason why we keep on coming back.Guest review byTrudiAustralia - 10

I love the vibe of Airlie beach there is so much activities to experience I love how booking.com also offers activities within the area as this makes it easily accessible to book activities. Where we stayed was walking distance to Main Street shops, night life etc. We are making Airlie beach an annual event.Guest review bySelinaAustralia - 8.0
We visited during the annual festival of flowers.
We visited during the annual festival of flowers. Gardens are lovely. There's also interesting things to do for train enthusiasts. Plenty of shopping and dining options without the stampede of big cities. I was pleasantly surprized by the amount of green spaces and parks. Plenty of space to read a book, picnic or just walk through parks. Lovely museum and cafes to suite your needsGuest review byAnelleAustralia - 8.0
Port Douglas was lovely.
Port Douglas was lovely. Beaches are not the best, not user friendly, crocs and stingers, seen more beautiful and swimable beaches in other parts of Australia. Would definitely go back, was a lay back peaceful town and the Sunday market was great. Bars were fun and plenty of them. Surprised the oysters were from South Australia or Tasmania, thought they would be local, perhaps the crocs would eat them, haha!Guest review byHeatherAustralia - 10

Mackay is a beautiful coastal spot, I'm planning another trip there soon. We visited the Marina, and did some shopping at Canelands. We attended an Engagement party with family there and the venue was beautifully set up, staff were so friendly and the weather was beautiful for a swim and fish and chips.Guest review byCindyExAustralia - 8.0

Hervey Bay is the best place in the world to see Humpback Whales whether for the juvenials that are people curious (known as August whales) or the Mothers and Calves which arrive from early September through to the end of October. My focus is only on the whales but there are various trips to K'Gari (formerly Fraser Island) either by organised bus tours, self drive or by boat to the West side where kyaking and beach tours plus whale watching in season is available. See Tasman Venture web site for details.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom
