- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 3,366 reviewsI had booked RACV Royal Pines Resort for my daughter‘s 21st Birthday. And they made her Birthday super special. Everything was Perfect 10!!!!! There is a Japanese restaurant which is called Arakawa inside this property. The restaurant was also super good and after dinner they brought a birthday wish truffle chocolates with the candle and sung a birthday song for her. The night was Just spectacular. Also the morning buffet was incredibly fun to have. So many kinds of good foods, fruits and desserts are available. We recommend super strong to stay RACV Royal Pines Resort taking dinner at Arakawa restaurant and having breakfast at buffet!!!! Thank you for making our stay memorable. Much appreciate it.Guest review bySHIHOJapan
- From US$533.21 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,048 reviewsThe perfect destination for a family holiday - friendly, Clean, comfortable and with a wonderful pool that our kids were happy playing in all day! While we’ve heard good things about the restaurant we like to self cater on holiday - there was a well equipped kitchen in our apartment and excellent supermarkets and a Sunday farmers market nearby. There’s a shuttle bus to Hastings Street every half hour which was awesome for avoiding parking hassles when we went to the beach / shops.Guest review byJulietNew Zealand

Very easy to navigate and get around.
Very easy to navigate and get around. We walked a short display to Fortitude valley train station and made our way to South Bank for less than $5 for 2 adults and 3 kids. Had the best time at Sth Bank park and man made pool, then a great dinner, drinks and live music at a pub 5min walking distance from the pool, easy walk back to train station. 3 happy exhausted kids and 2 happy adultsGuest review byDianaAustralia - 8.0

We went to Burleigh beach to watch the wind-surfing; we watched the sunset at Mermaid Beach; we went up Skypoint Observation Deck and to the nature reserve where we saw kangaroos and koalas. Govinda's was great for vegetarian food.Guest review byJustineUnited Kingdom - 6.0
There really isn’t much to see in downtown Cairns.
There really isn’t much to see in downtown Cairns. To enjoy it, you have to go out to the islands, but this always requires paying a high price, and there aren’t many options in terms of timing. I would instead recommend staying briefly at a resort on one of the islands and then returning. Kuranda and the other rainforests were more developed as tourist attractions than I expected. Everywhere you go, you have to pay an entrance fee, and the shops all felt the same without any unique character.Guest review bychoiAustralia - 8.0

Stunning weather, stunning views, friendly staff everywhere we went, Except for the bar on the right at the roundabout as you drop down into the main shopping area. (bar staff were rude) Went on a Red Cat Adventure snorkling & visit to an Island with the most stunning beach I have ever seen. Pristine sand and clear blue water. Skipper Mark & Deck crew Jade & Kobi were fantastic we highly recommend them.Guest review byLorenNew Zealand - 8.0

A very interesting and multi-cultural town with a diverse range of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and shops, a very large country town that also hosts a wonderful flower show mid-September. Also an amazing new airport just out of town called Wellcamp indicates this is an elevated - go ahead - rural town with some lovely real estate features, great schools and landmark views over the Lockyer Valley. In fact the other "table land towns" Dalby, Warwick, Stanthorpe and many. many more provide a great insight into rural Australia. Very worthy of planning a road trip and hiring a car!!!Guest review byMaxwellAustralia - 10.0
It's peaceful and very laid-back; no one is in a hurry.
It's peaceful and very laid-back; no one is in a hurry. The beaches are beautiful, as are the small islands in the reef. If you want to see the Great Barrier Reef, this is the best place to be! The drive into Port Douglas is a Cathedral of palm trees. If you're looking for slow and beauty, this is the place, Port Douglas!Guest review byBarbAustralia - 10.0

I attended a cricket game at Harrup Park, which I had never been to before. Google maps made it easy to find and the facilities are amazing. One afternoon, I walked the Mackay Bluewater Trail. It was interesting and I felt safe on the trail.Guest review byKENAustralia - 10.0
