- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 206 reviews**Review of Treetops Montville** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Treetops Montville, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the beauty of the surroundings, making it a true nature lover's paradise. One of the highlights of our stay was the thoughtful birthday decorations that we had requested. It was such a delightful surprise to walk into our accommodation and find it beautifully adorned. It truly made the occasion feel special and memorable. The fridge was stocked with an impressive array of breakfast goodies and wine bottles—far more than I had ever encountered in any other holiday stay. It was such a treat to have everything we needed right at our fingertips, making our mornings leisurely and enjoyable. The location itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The soothing sounds of the nearby creek added a serene ambiance that made our stay even more relaxing. If you appreciate the beauty of nature, Treetops Montville is a must-visit destination. The swimming pool was another fantastic feature, offering a perfect blend of privacy and tranquility. It was the ideal spot to unwind and soak up the stunning surroundings. I am already planning my next holiday with Treetops Montville, as this experience has left me eager to return. If you're looking for a getaway that combines luxury, nature, and exceptional service, look no further than Treetops Montville. Highly recommended!Guest review bySonikaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 103 reviewsThe organisation was meticulous, from the welcome message, to the entry/check-in instructions, to the breakfasts provided by the local cafe - I preferred to take a walk through the orchard to get mine but you can have yours delivered to your room if you like. The villa was immaculate with wonderful facilities, fabulous views of the bushland, comfortable sofas & beds, a lovely fireplace, & very, very private, despite the floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides. The setting in a Mango Orchard, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Glass House Mountains makes this a must stay experience if you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!Guest review bySteveUnited Arab Emirates
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 559 reviewsMaleny Tropical Retreat is a gem. The place has been curated with authentic Balinese furniture and decor, creating a unique, calming environment. The place is well laid out, clean and very comfortable. The star of the show is the amazing view from the patio, overlooking the mountains and Baroon lake. The host and owner, Ken, was kind and made us feel very welcome. The continental breakfast supplied was great. We will definitely return.Guest review byBrianaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Superb - What previous guests thought, 148 reviewsEverything was amazing! The location is great and close to Maleny and Montville for little trips as well as finding waterfalls. The cottage was spectacular and the views from the daybed were magical, especially when I fractured my ankle on a walk and had to spend the next day relaxing out on the balcony. Daily breakfast delivered to the room was delicious and the service and care from Emily was beyond expectations.Guest review byDenikaAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 239 reviewsIt was so much more than we expected. The walk down to the cottage was a delight and our Hosts Alen an Ayrna just topped of our stay. Plus it's the attention to detail that really makes this place so special. You also have plenty to do with in a short drive to keep you occupied if just relaxing in your cottage isn't enough to fill your time.Guest review byKarenAustralia

I love the wonderful natural settings in and around montville and Maleny. We dipped in three separate rock pools with waterfalls during our stay. That's special! Gardners Falls, etc. Lovely bush walks through the National Parks, especially Booloumba Creek. Lots of different bird life, especially the songs of the bell and whip birds. We had great meals provided at our accommodation, Montville Country Cabins so we didn't eat out. We also took our own picnic basket and hamper so that we could enjoy more time in Nature. A car, preferably 4WD is essential to make the most of the area.Guest review bykeithAustralia - 10

Nambour is an old established town but it provides easy and quick access to the Sunshine Coast( around 20 mins to the Sunshine Coast airport) where accommodation could be considerably more expensive. My stay in the Nambour Heights Motel was directly opposite the Nambour Hospital and relatively close to other places in the area. It was 11 minutes from the Buderim Ginger Factory and very close to the Big Pineapple. Also close to the Bli Bli water ski park which appeared to be a huge complex.Guest review byMichaelAustralia - 10

The main attraction in Beerwah is Australia Zoo but we actually skipped the zoo this time and opted out for a quieter and more peaceful trip. There are so many beautiful landscapes and walks to enjoy in the area and it's only a short drive to Maleny or Montville as well. If you are seeking a relaxing experience, I'd definitely recommend visiting those two little towns. We enjoyed the Thai Restaurant in Maleny and strolls through the streets of Montville followed by a hearty lunch at The Edge Restaurant. We also visited the Botanic Gardens & Bird Sanctuary in Maleny which was AMAZING!Guest review byLisaGermany - 10
My favourite Italian restaurant was open.
My favourite Italian restaurant was open. So a hot pizza on a cold night made all the difference to our stay. The local store has a great variety of foods for snacks or dinner and then it's nice just to walk around and explore the town.Guest review byGrahamAustralia - 10

Situated in the hinterland mountains of the Sunshine Coast, this area has great appeal. Good restaurants, boutique shops, and wonderful scenic walks, or for the less active, plenty of scenic drives. Whether swimming under waterfalls, or enjoying excellent food this area is an excellent choice.Guest review byrichardmacdAustralia - 10

Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms.
Great property for family travelling with ensuite bathrooms. The property is dated but it meats the style of an old Queenslander. If it was modernised would spoil character.Great wrap round verandah which is gated and can be closed off for young children to safely play. Plenty of utensils and crockery etc in the kitchen, some older adding to the character Will be back to explore this property walking opportunities, dam, ,cattle and horse furtherGuest review byLorraineAustralia - 10

Beautiful views, friendly and helpful people especially cafe/restaurant/shop assistants. Easy to get around. Good for retail therapy. Was a trip down memory lane for me hence just driving around to Baroon Dam, Maleny - for a bit of retail therapy too, and surrounding areas was great. Did not make it to Kondalillia Falls unfortunately this time.Guest review byAnonymous
