- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 2,477 reviewsRight opposite Centraal Station and above a huge underground Parking garage - super convenient however you arrive. Check-in is friendly and fast (on line check-in is also available, but face-to-face Staff are great at explaining facilities and outlining local amenities). A friendly lobby bar has a good vibe and also offers table service for diners - you get a great menu with local cuisine without the formality of the larger restaurant upstairs. Room itself not the largest, but well laid out, clean and stunning cityscape views (5th floor). Antwerp was an interesting City & too much to do in a day and a half - so we will be returning. To the Lindner, naturally.Guest review byStuartUnited Kingdom
- From $79.87 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 6.6Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 4,706 reviewsI loved staying here, the room was secure, comfortable and had everything you could need, much more like a hotel than a hostel as I stayed in a private room. In fact, I moved here for the final three days of my trip, after the original hostel I'd been staying at was uncomfortable and run-down, so this place salvaged my trip a lot. Thanks! Great location right next to the train station, allowing me to wake up late, and still make my train on time for various day trips around Belgium. Excellent overall.Guest review byMatthewUnited Kingdom

A gem of a city, lots of interesting architecture and great vibes during the music festival in particular. The Market Place (during the blue window) is really quaint.... The cathedral is also very impressive !!! It's worth going there for the train station alone, probably one of THE most spectacular in Europe... Make sure you take it all in before heading out... And if you like diamonds, well, it's the diamond capital of the world, so, it's pretty dazzling as you step out and are faced with shop after shop showcasing beautiful (but mostly unaffordable) jewellery :) It's a feast for the eyes, if nothing else...Guest review bySylvieFrance - 10.0

Lier is a lovely town, the streets are clean and quiet.
Lier is a lovely town, the streets are clean and quiet. There is a lot of history here and the canals and waterways are very beautidul. There is something for everyone, the town square is surrounded by good restaurants, the buildings are interesting and full of history. If you like walking or cycling there are plenty of well marked trails and an abundance of wildlife in the rivers and canals. You can take a boat trip in the old flat bottomed eel boatsand the guides are very knowledgable and interesting. There are good transport links witht he station being on the edge of town, just a 15 minute walk into the centre. The town Hall is a beautiful building. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back.Guest review byRos - 10.0

Brasschaat has great dog walking places which is convenient since we always travel with our dog, it has a classy residential hub, calm and peaceful, and it is still near to the city of Antwerp, making it easy to visit the old city or have business events.Guest review byYvetteSwitzerland - 10.0
Geel has a rich and varied history.
Geel has a rich and varied history. There was fierce World War Two fighting here a prelude to the massive Airborne operation, the subject of the film "A Bridge too Far". On the other hand the town pioneered the care of the mentally ill in the community as opposed to institutions about 150 years ago. Also has great restaurents around the town square.Guest review byanthonyCanada - 10.0
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short.
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short. I am either passing through or stopping over from one of my many adventures through Europe, it is always a pleasure to see Isle & Peter. Seems like I have know them for years but I have only visited them on two occasions one just before Christmas last year and one a couple of days ago. This time I brought my friend with me to enjoy the experience and it was a sheer joy to come back and share it with him, as always Isle & Peter were the perfect hosts, didn't put a foot wrong and were happy to chat whenever they had time. The sheer beauty of the surrounding is heavenly if you want some peace and quiet from the busy lifestyle if only for a short break. Can't wait for my next visit to see Isle & Peter again.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Antwerp is a compact city, with amazing museums and historical sights, many of which are within walking distance of the main railway station. If you don't speak Dutch, English is widely spoken, and shop assistants and waiters are friendly and approachable. Public transport is superb, for travelling a bit further out of the city. There's a vibrancy to Antwerp that feels different from Brussels (the other city that we're most familiar with in Belgium). With hindsight we would have stayed for another couple of days. We will definitely return!Guest review byLucyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Mechelen is a visually appealing small city with a fascinating history. I have visited two times previously and as it is within an easy train trip of the Brussels airport it is my preferred place to stay before taking a flight from Belgium. It has lots of attractions (climbing the tower in the cathedral is taxing), is easy to walk around and has lots of restaurants. On each of my visits I seem to have been fortunate to coincide with a musical event -perhaps they have a lot or maybe I was just lucky. For beer and whiskey drinkers the local product from Carolus is well worth seeking out.Guest review byAndrewAustralia - 10.0

Lier is a very pretty town with an interesting history and it is only a 20 minute train ride away from Antwerp. It is easy to walk between the various sites like the town hall and the beginnage and the Great Church. There was a small museum near to my hotel with some history and art related to the town that I also thought was interesting. The town arose because of the river around it which still flows through and is very prettyGuest review byDaniel
