- From $184.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 4,530 reviewsWe stayed in the presidential suite and it was absolutely amazing. We were given champagne and we ordered room service for the morning breakfast and it was so good! They don't tell you that parking your car in their garage does cost extra on the website, we found out after we got there. They did take our car for us to the garage so we could go check in and not get a parking ticket since they only have 2 unloading zoned spaces in front of the hotel. They were really wonderful telling us about all the amenities and the only time we ever heard from another guest was when they were using the private lift. The food at the restaurants looks amazing, however we didn't eat there because our kids wouldn't have liked anything, but if we are ever in Ghent again on our own we will definitely book again and go to the restaurant.Guest review byShastaGermany

Ghent is one of the most attractive northern European cities boasting magnificent and extensive 16th and 17th century architecture and its cathedral is home to some major artwork of historic importance. There is a wide range of restaurants and bars. The free walking tours are highly recommended for a good introduction to the city, its history and its many sights and a great way to begin a visit.Guest review byCharlesUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely little town right between Brussels and Ghent - so perfect location to explore both cities if you have a car. The village itself is peaceful, clean and green with lots of helpful people who speak English and French. There is an amazing little tavern in the village where we stayed, but many more restaurants in the town.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 6.0

It is ok to visit St Niklaas for 1 day as it is small town. It is good in combination with the visit to Antwerp. There are few historical sights. The restaurants usually close at 22.00 so make sure that you go to eat on time.Guest review byNataliaBelgium - 10.0

Oudennarde is a lovely town with a beautiful square in the centre. It's a great place to have a Belgian beer and watch the world go by. There are plenty of places to eat but Margarethas is by far the best. It might appear to be expensive but you get excellent food for your money. A walk by the river is recommended - especially on a sunny day. Additionally, Donk Lake is also a lovely place for a walk - or to watch the wake boarders. Unfortunately, it rained every day while we were there. A trip to Ghent is probably recommended if you spend more than two to three nights here.Guest review byLenUnited Kingdom - 10.0

beautiful historic town ,very friendly people. parking was plentiful and once you got to grip with the language most directions were easy to follow. for people with the love of biking, this area is idyllic and very safe. we were impressed with the facilities both on and of the road side for mobility scooters and wheelchairs, often taking priority over cars and other traffic. everywhere was so clean and especially public conveniences. there were nice straight roads to other areas such as Sint-Niklaas and Sint- Pauwels , tempse. many sightseeing spots. Overall atmosphere was friendly and laid back. we are hoping to visit againGuest review byAndreaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Didn't see much of town as I was involved elsewhere, but it had some bistros and restaurants. It was a clean and tidy place, parking was good near the hotel. A good base to tour north-west Belgium. Very close to main roads.Guest review byJeffreyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely area, perfect for relaxing and strolling around in the countryside. close enough to beautiful cities, ideal to visit during the day and then return to relax in the countryside. The buildings and architecture reflect the age of the buildings, but the buildings have been well maintained. The people are friendly, helpful and will assist the visitor in way they can. The prices are moderate and so shopping and dining are first rate.Guest review byEvanAustralia - 10.0
Ghent is well worth visiting.
Ghent is well worth visiting. It is larger than Bruges so you need more time there. It is full of historic sites but at the same time a modern university city. Plenty of good restaurants and bars and the transport system easy to master and cheap.Guest review byRagnhIceland
