- From US$172.79 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 4,963 reviewsThe room had a huge king size bed - very comfortable nights sleep! The bathroom was spotless and had good products for hair & body washing as well as plenty of towels. We enjoyed the pool and spa after our long day of driving and had a beautiful meal at a reasonable price in the restaurant attached to the hotel. The staff were very accommodating with my request for a lactose free meal advising & checking with the chef to see what would suit me. The hotel seemed a way from the central area of Rivière-du-Loup but it was quiet and certainly suited our short stay.Guest review byJenniferAustralia

We visited the Empress of Ireland museum and would recommend it to all, unfortunately the submarine was closed and that was disappointing. Don’t visit on a Monday, the restaurants are closed in RimouskiGuest review byJackCanada - 8.0

Great host, beautifully renovated farm house, beautiful peaceful garden, delicious breakfast. The only little thing : the bed frame is squeaking but mattress and pillows are very comfy. The room is full of light and very homy. The bathroom is spotless , big and have all the necessary modern amenities. A very pleasant home away from home.Guest review bynadineCanada - 10.0
Just an amazing area with nature all around.
Just an amazing area with nature all around. The SEPAQ park Le Bic is heaven on earth. With the ocean at its doorstep it is a very beautiful park that reminds me of Vancouver Island. I did the Pic Champlain and Le Tour Cap-à-l'Orignal. The village of Le Bic is very quaint and attractive. The village is located above the main route 132 and the main road runs parallel to this. I envy those who live there with the view of the park and the river beyond. Simply paradise!Guest review byRogerCanada - 10.0
Pleasant two nights stay in Kamouraska.
Pleasant two nights stay in Kamouraska. If you are on our way to Gaspé or back take advantage of this beautiful village. Best time to visit Thursday to Sunday. Monday to Wednesday the restaurant we liked is closed (Coté-Est). One night is feasible but is short. Cool down on the public beach, read a book and enjoy the sunset. End of Juin begining of July there are a lot of roses in bloom. Beautiful.Guest review byAlexandraCanada - 8.0
Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway.
Cabano is so much more than what you see from the highway. The town was so pretty. The park is amazing. If you are travelling through (we travel from NB to ON) Cabano is a great place to stop and take a break or stay overnight. I would have enjoyed at least one full day and another night to explore.Guest review byCrystalCanada - 6.0
Motel had a very nice restaurant open from 5:AM until 9:PM.
Motel had a very nice restaurant open from 5:AM until 9:PM. Indoor pool exercise room. Slot Machines were available. The room had a fridge and large screen TV. The room was very large and could accommodate a wheel chair without concern. The bathroom was also large enough for a wheel chair. The motel had drive up style rooms as well as hotel style with an elevator. The hotel rooms were spotless and beds were comfortable and room was very quiet. After a seven hour drive we had a very good sleep. The hotel/ motel is just of the highway and is easy to get back onto the highway. This hotel is located approximately half way on my trip and its location makes it a great spot for an overnight stay.Guest review byHaroldCanada - 8.0

Riviere du Loup is always a stop over for us, as it is halfway between Gaspe and Montreal. We have stayed at five different motels in RDL, there are two with breakfast included, and do have pools, but they do cost more.Guest review byRalphCanada - 10.0

We could walk from the hotel to the many restaurants as well as along the waterfront for daily sunsets. We drove to the recommended attractions (parc du Bic, route des monts notre dame, Portes de l'enfer) With good sunny weather, we had a relaxing four days of local tourist faresGuest review byGerardCanada - 10.0
I frequently drive from NB to ON and the stretch of the St.
I frequently drive from NB to ON and the stretch of the St. Laurent between Riviere-du-Loup and Québec is, in my view, one of the most beautiful places on the planet. La Pocatiere and area with its hills (les monadnocks) is lovely. Be sure to visit the Tourist Information Centre for fabulous views of ma belle fleuve St. Laurent and the mountains beyond. Explore along Rte. 132 - so much to see and do (cycling, skiing, photography, loads of artisan studios, restaurants, other food and beverages places, and fascinating history). I hope to some day spend a week or so in the area so I can really immerse myself much more than I can while en route. And you may see snow geese, if you're lucky.Guest review byNadineCanada
