Very friendly people, enjoyed the River walk and some of the local attractions but there was considerable road construction going on throughout the city which made getting around a bit difficult, especially in the later afternoon. Took a day to see Hopewell Rocks and Fundy National Park, both very worthwhile.Guest review byEdwardCanada - 8.0
Definitely worth a visit!
Definitely worth a visit! Quiet city with many cultural and religious attractions. My children noticed the very tasty ice cream, everywhere and the excellently arranged and maintained parks. The people on the streets are very friendly. The shops and shopping centers are overflowing with abundance and advantageous offers. Comparatively low prices, including for fuel (the lowest). The authorities do not charge parking on weekends, holidays and at certain times, which makes the tourist attractions extremely accessible and attractive. We parked for free and walked a lot, we visited many places. Easy city to fly around, without much traffic, and the police do not bother you. Very welcoming, very friendly city, with many places to visit. Definitely, it is worth including in tourist itineraries, being a pearl of the province of New-Brunswick.Guest review byDragos - 10

A wonderful place that has historical sites, modern amenities, and friendly people. We visited the Reversing Falls, ate at Beer Bread Pizza (absolutely fantastic pizzas) and spent the evening listening to music in the Market square outside of our hotel . On our second day in Saint John we met up with family and walked through the visited the City Market, the Container Village and ate at Steamers Lobster Co. great food will definitely eat there again! I can't forget to mention the Market Square that is full of shops and places to eat or stop for a rest! All this right outside our Hilton Hotel.Guest review byTzikas - 8.0

It’s a great place for stopover to your next destination of your trip. We didn’t go out to eat, had leftovers food & reheated in microwave. We didn’t do any activities or visited places, we were there for a overnight stay & a good night sleep onto our next destination.Guest review byDianneCanada - 8.0

St,. Andrews (town) is a photogenic tourist town with great views and strict tourist prices. Paid $55 for a roast beef dinner and left hungry. Will not stay over next time we play Algonquin. Fool me once...Guest review byBrianCanada - 10

Unfortunately, the Grand Falls was very small due to lack of rain in the area. Since it was Saturday night, most restaurants were closed by 9 PM so don’t plan to eat out late. The visitors centre was great!Guest review byDarlene - 8.0

Miramichi is a nice city - people who live and work there seem friendly. We were there for the solar eclipse event at the airport and it was a good turnout. The restaurants here are the best! The Odonaghues Irish Pub is superb! It has great food and beer and phenomenal waitresses and kitchen staff... highly recommend this pub for an authentic Irish pub ambiance and great service. Food far is reasonably priced. https://odonaghues.com/ The best chef that we came across was at Hennessy's pub https://www.hennessyspub.ca/ - authentic Jamaican jerk chicken and smoked meats - all delicious... highly recommend. The old part of Miramichi near the ODonaghues Irish pub is a nice place to stroll around and take in some unique shops and the riverfront scenery.Guest review byUilaniCanada - 8.0
Thoroughly bilingual.
Thoroughly bilingual. The train station is interesting if you're a railway enthusiast. But stay on the platform! Right next door is the unassuming Italian restaurant Pronto, where diner was delicious and the service sincerely friendly.Guest review byGeorgeSwitzerland - 6.0
We don't like that you have no beach access unless you pay.
We don't like that you have no beach access unless you pay. It is not a good place for Seniors to visit especially if you can't walk long distances. The provincial park is not senior friendly. We came to see the ocean and only got glimpses.Guest review byWither - 10

Visiting Hopewell Rocks was a highlight of my trip to the Maritimes! I recommend going twice - at both low and high tides. I enjoyed having lunch at the restaurant onsite - I would recommend their burgers and fries.Guest review byWilson
