- From $478.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 457 reviewsA luxurious hotel located near the center of the town of Spiez and overlooking Lake Thun and Spiez Castle. For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.Guest review byArnonIsrael

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 302 reviewsA perfect 10! Adelboden is in a most peaceful & serene valley with many activities & viewpoints to enjoy. Yet, it is not over-run with tourists. A respectful, kind & friendly atmosphere prevails. Staff is always there to serve you. Enjoy a fabulous breakfast & quality dinner choices. What a pleasure to return to the Adler after a day’s activities & hit the sauna or whirlpools, then a relaxing swim before dinner. This is a real vacation in my opinion. I am longing to return already!Guest review byJoanUnited States

Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels.
Interlaken was the “cherry on top” of our European travels. The views were amazing (I’ve never seen 30+ paragliders in the sky…in the ALPs no less!!!), the area was so quaint, the locals friendly; and eating Swiss fondue somehow tastes better from the Alps! Highky recommend cappuccino and breakfast at the Aarburg (Tim & His Wife are awesome & The food not only tastes amazing but each dish is a work of art!) and the Boutique Hotel Bellevue.Guest review byRichardUnited States - 10.0
This is the dreamy wonderland, I love here so much.
This is the dreamy wonderland, I love here so much. I visited Grindelwald 2 times in 2025, feeling super lucky about it. Its so natural and peaceful yet very touristic in a non disturbing way. There are many hills to explore, many things to do. But you should take into consideration that its very expensive. Especially for touristic activities such as cable car.Guest review bysevilGermany - 6.0

Three days would have been right if the weather had cooperated. We had 3 days of rain and clouds. Did not go to the top of either mountain as it was totally fogged in on all 3 days. We did enjoy the rest of the area, doing what we could in the rain.Guest review byTerryUnited States - 10.0

3 Families sent us exchange students years ago, and we are still friends with all of them, so a lot of visiting. Dinner on the lake, afternoon tea at Schloss Schadau, downtown area by the river. plenty of scenic side trips like the funicular up the Neisen and the Thunerseespiele (musical presented in an outdoor theater overlooking the lake) and plenty of other things to se and doGuest review byFahrniUnited States - 10.0

Wengen is an unbelievably charming town perched above the Lauterbrunnen valley, with incredible views of the valley and its waterfalls and the surrounding moutains. There are lovely hikes of varying degrees of difficulty that take you to great spots. And it is easy to access other attractions in the Jungfrau region. It is worth some research into the various transport passes. You definitely want some kind of pass if you are there for multiple days. My wife and I also visited Grindelwald for a day, and we enjoyed it. It is more built up, with more activities and probably more nightlife than Wengen. But, to our taste, we would definitely rate Wengen higher given its very small town vibe and unbeatable views.Guest review byKennethUnited States - 10.0

Kandersteg is a beautiful place for hiking and outdoor activities. I highly recommend to go to the Oeschenesee, it was one of our favorites on our trip. If you stay a little bit longer, maybe you also want to go to Saint-Leonard underground lake, what is easy to access with a car train that leaves from Kandersteg.Guest review byTaijaFinland - 10.0

Wilderswil was a pleasant surprise. a quiet residential community a few kilometers from Interlaken, the area is quiet and friendly. A short bus ride to the main train station and into the city of Interlaken provides access to the rest of the area. I look forward to returning in the winter to enjoy the surrounding snowfall (hopefully!).Guest review byAlanUnited States - 10.0
