- From US$336.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 465 reviewsOne of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Attention to detail was impeccable. We requested an early check in (3 hours early) with only 30 mins notice and they said yes straight away. We got there and they came straight out to help with luggage and then parked our car for us. Complimentary welcome drinks in the conservatory over looking the mountains. The suite was absolutely stunning. 3 balconies with gorgeous views. We stayed with our 3 children (16,15 & 11) so they made 3 beds up in the living area. Children all said their beds were really comfortable, as was ours. All the amenities you would need, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, moisturiser etc. We had a Christmas tree in the room which made it feel like home from home. The most perfect place to stop at Christmas. The breakfast was great. Hot & cold options. Everything freshly made and lots of choices. We were the only family of 5 staying there, and there was a table set up for us each morning which was a nice touch. No need to pull chairs around and squeeze in etc. Lovely little touches everywhere, Christmas cookies each morning. A present (a huge stunning candle) on Christmas Day with a lovely hand written note. The spa was gorgeous. Always nice and quiet in there. Sauna/ steam room, jacuzzi pool and outdoor heated pool and more. We all enjoyed it. Children loved going in the pools. I loved being able to call the bar upstairs and order a glass of champagne whilst relaxing on a sun longer. Great position with many restaurants & bars within walking distance. The hotel recommended a few places and booked us tables etc. We booked skiing and lessons through Experience Champéry which was recommended by the hotel. It’s opposite the hotel so it was easy to pop in and confirm my booking. They also gave me a discount code for 20% of ski rentals from the Berra shop just a few doors down. I would 100% recommend this hotel for couples or families.Guest review byKirsty WilsonUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 648 reviewsWe were greeted at the Hotel Alpina by an efficient and courteous reception team, and experienced excellent customer service from all departments throughout our stay. The Oxalis restaurant exceeded our expectations and the Chef was very accommodating at tweaking the half-board set menu to suit family allergies. The menu is available in reception each afternoon to review ahead of the evening sitting. Every dish was beautifully presented and made for a fine dining experience; the selection of desserts and cheeses was also exceptional. The Breakfast buffet was extensive and we were spoilt for choice. The restaurant staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. Our family suite was spacious comprising 2 rooms with an interconnecting door and a shared entrance, bathroom and balcony. Plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, and a separate coat rack at the entrance of the suite. Large radiators in both rooms and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. The Housekeeping service was excellent. We had chosen the hotel due to it's location and restaurant reviews. The Spa had not been a key factor, but turned out to be one of the highlights. The pool area and jacuzzi area was popular with families, and a separate adults (plus supervised children > 12 yrs) area comprising a pool incorporating specific water-massage zones; a shower trio of cold, mist and warm showers; an ice fountain and hammam were a treat. The upstairs sauna and relaxation room were also welcome finds. The hotel has a relaxing Bar area with a selection of large comfortable sofas, armchairs and coffee tables. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and was enjoyed by individuals, couples, and groups alike whether playing board or card games, reading or socialising. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alpina and would definitely return. Highly recommended.Guest review byMichelleUnited Kingdom

Fabulous location with breathtaking views and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind - especially the concierge. He went out of his way to prepare a breakfast for us to take when we had a very early checkout. We loved the amazing restaurants and buffet breakfast. We also enjoyed the spa treatments.Guest review byNicole DownesAustralia

Les Gets is a beautiful alpine village in Haute Savoie. There are many activities for families; The Wibit water park on the lake, the all-year toboggan run, trampolines, not speaking of the great mtb/downhill trails. Highly recommend choosing an accomodation that offers the Multipass; you can access many activities for free or with a discount :)Guest review byTimoFinland - 10.0

We spent our skiing holiday with 8 adults at the accommodation Les Dents du Midi-Echo de la corne. The apartment is beautifully decorated in a country house style. A pellet stove provides additional warmth in the evening and adds to the atmosphere. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped for 8 people. The double beds are equipped with a large blanket, which should be taken into account if you bring your own bed linen. The facility as a whole is rather simple, but sufficient. The problem, however, were the choleric hosts. They shouted at us several times and told us to follow orders (that weren't clear before) in a raised voice: - when parking in the yard on the day of arrival because we didn't park according to the host's expectations - for unlocking the entrance door when unloading ski equipment - for the dishwasher still running and one tablet hadn't been put in the cupboard when we handed over the apartment, even though we paid the final cleaning fee and tidied up the kitchen properly - The bedding on the sofa had a large yellow stain. Since we had our own bedding with us, we took off the host's bedding and put it aside and used our own. During the handover there was a long instruction that we had not acted properly and should have informed the hosts immediately. In the end we felt humiliated and just wanted to get away from there. This stay will be remembered as a bad nightmare.Guest review byEugenGermany - 10.0

Driving up the mountain was quite an adventure for someone like me, accustomed to the pancake-flat roads of the Netherlands. The winding roads were challenging, especially with a few cars descending as I made my way up. At one point, I even had to turn around after missing a left turn just past a restaurant—but what a blessing in disguise that was, giving me an extra moment to take in the breathtaking scenery. The view from the top was absolutely worth every twist and turn. A truly unforgettable experience!Guest review byLente TulpNetherlands - 10.0

Lovely mountain village close to the Swiss border and the Lac Léman, with lots of outdoors to discover. Lakes are all around the village, with easy access by car or walking, and mountain lakes are accessible by eggs ! The surroundings are peaceful and quiet with friendly people and great food! You can easily access the slopes from the village and the nearby ski station is only 10 min away by car. We recommand to also visit the farmer's markets on Sunday morning with lots of fresh products from the region, cheese and charcuterie, but also homemade goods and bakeries !Guest review byLucie PiovanFrance - 8.0

It's a brilliant option for families and learner skiers with lots of easy slopes suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. The village is very authetic and quaint with a reat choice of restaurants, cafes, ski hire shops and a little supermarket. The close proximity to Geneva is such a selling point for us as we can hire a car and rive in just over an hour to the village.Guest review byClareUnited Kingdom
