We had a room with a balcony which had a most amazing view of snow capped mountains. The room isn’t too big so it was great having the added outside space. The hotel is very cozy and welcoming and everybody who works there is friendly, smiling all the time and ready to help with anything you need. The evening dinner was exceptional and the atmosphere is convivial, giving guests from different countries time to chat and share stories. The hotel is centrally located so it’s easy to walk around the beautiful town and build up an appetite.

    The hotel is 3 mins away from the bus station. The breakfast was great and our hosts were so nice and helped us any time we had a question or needed something. The beds were comfortable and it was really quiet and peaceful.

    Lovely wee place!

    Lovely wee place! Great for gentle walks or a great starting point for more challenging hikes and/or bike rides. Enjoyed the local restaurants and specialties. A trip to Sta Maria Val Müstair wouldn't be complete with a trip to the High Glen Distillery and the Smallest Whisky Bar on Earth!

    Amazing cloister with medieval frescos in a picturesque Swiss mountain town, several excellent restaurants, beautiful hikes nearby, great for cycling and exploring the wonderful region of Switzerland's fourth national language, Romansch.

    Pretty village with a lovely church in typical Swiss (fortified) style. It is literally a few steps away from the border with Italy, and I was able to walk with my dog right up to a boundary stone in the middle of a field! It is a fascinating area for linguists - Swiss German, standard German and Rumansch all feature, so you will have a great time if, like me, these things interest you.
