- From $237.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 1,056 reviewsThe hotel is conveniently located, right beside a subway station (National Museum) on Line 8. It is also on the Wang fu jing street so you can walk to the main Wang fu jing area. We enjoyed walking on the street a lot, it has many cultural buildings and even a Catholic Church (1 out of 4 in Beijing). The hotel lobby smells really welcoming (sadly they don't sell the diffuser). They have an indoor pool and gym. The rooms have recently been renovated and it is tastefully furnished. I love the layout of the room and the furnishing. I took a few pictures in the room and my friends have commented that the room looks expensive. The service provided is also great. Anytime we needed anything, they were quick to deliver. We stayed here for 11 nights and had a wonderful stay overall!Guest review byAmeliaSingapore

Loved China as a destinantion, Beijing was least favourite...
Loved China as a destinantion, Beijing was least favourite though, but also because it was Golden Week and incredibly busy, we knew that so we had made the choice beforehand, going to the Great Wall was a highlight, along withe Summer Palace and the Hutong district around the Bell & Drum Tower, we visited the Olympic area as well which was interesting and of course Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City, both of the latter were so crowded that we felt a bit underwhelmed by them. Eating Peking Duck in Beijing is a must of course and ours was great, you can order a 1/4 1/2 or full and will come with all the extras you need. If you go to the Great Wall my advice is set off no later than 6.30 so you have chance to enjoy before the crowds arrive later, and you can always put your feet up later !Guest review bymariawhiteheadUnited Kingdom - 10.0

From the warm welcome offered by most staff and the ample parking facilities, to the overall comfortable accommodations, I was quite satisfied with my stay. However, the somewhat distant attitude of a few front desk employees stood out. A consistent level of friendliness across all team members would truly elevate the entire experience.”Guest review byHyeonwooSouth Korea - 10.0
A modern city and yet the pace is not as hurried as others.
A modern city and yet the pace is not as hurried as others. Clean, pretty and convenient to move around. Nice museums (Art, History, Natural History) and an impressive public library next to the museum, in addition to the historic districts that many tourist agencies rave about.Guest review byAndyHong Kong - 10.0
It's best for the great wall.
It's best for the great wall. I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity. To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes. Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.Guest review byBecca LUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We came here specifically to see The Great Wall that ends in the ocean. First time my husband visited it ended in the ocean. There was no beach. The original wall is now encased as it is very deteriorated. An interesting site for sure.Guest review byBRUCEUnited States - 8.0

Travel to Beijing at the low season - mid to end of the September. The Great Wall of China is a must visited place. Had so much fun sliding down on toboggan. The shopping malls are huge & awesome and lots of varieties. People are friendly to help. It is easy to travel around with public transport - subway and public bus (RMB2 per ride regardless distance). Worth of money spent stayed a night at Universal Studio Hotel with 4pm entrance on the day of arrival and an hour earlier entrance the next day. Managed to go on all the rides without long queue.Guest review byCraig WAustralia - 8.0

The ability of the receptionist to communicate to me in English was very professional. The Chef was very very friendly knowing that i was of African decent, he made me feel at home by taking me round and giving me insight of every single food served. All this was on the 31st December evening. He became my family on the night.Guest review byTaylor - 10.0

Tianjin is very underrated, and at just 30 minutes from Beijing I think it should be more popular. The river, the foreign concessions, and the modern buildings inspired by them, make the city feel very European, and we love wandering around the foreign concessions and the streets of the Wudadao area, getting coffee in the many different cafes. There's also Ancient Culture Street, which isn't ancient but has plenty of culture, the China House which is amazing to see from the outside (haven't been inside yet), the Confucius Temple, the Tianjin Eye, walks along the riverbank... lots to see and do here!Guest review byNic in ChinaChina - 10.0

I only saw the area around the Sheraton hotel. I would love to come back in the summer. There is a wonderful Olympic Park, many quaint restaurants, a brilliant night market and lovely treed streets to walk around and admire a different style of China.Guest review byStephen MCAtamneyChina - 10.0
Beijing is such a great place.
Beijing is such a great place. I felt so safe walking around the streets and parks with my grandmother at night. The place so well lit up and the people are so nice. This was my Grandmother's first time in Beijing and she said would definitely come back because of the people.Guest review byJonathanIreland
