After travelling over 50 countries and staying at many 5 star hotels, I can safely say this was the best most helpful and nicest staff I've ever met. Ever! I got to the hotel, I didn't have the right cash and they paid for it! Then walked me to halal chinese restaurant and paid for it. Offered to fix my broken luggage, change my currency, print my flight details, call me a taxi, order food/meds to the room when my daughter was sick and finally helped coordinate. My great wall tour, making tons of calls. I have never experienced anything better. Oh they also have a great breakfast, made it halal friendly for us, didn't charge extra when my daughter wanted more hashbrowns, they also packed us some snacks to go for our flight The room is very clean, and you have great shower pressure. It's probably the best staff I've ever encountered at any stay. They were always super helpful, and they went the extra mile. Honestly, they were the best part of the trip. The room was decent sized for a single room. The location is great. It borders the old and new. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

We had an amazing stay. The staff was so nice especially Nick ! He help us a lot with everthing. It was our first time in china so we weren’t used of many things but thank to him everything was easy. He is a real asset for the hotel. The room was nice and location very convenient.

Breakfast with a lot of choices for every taste. Perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. Subway very close. Transferservice if needed. Rooftop bar with interesting cocktails. Large indoor pool for relaxing. It was for us the perfect place for some intense sightseeing days. Beijing had far more to offer than we thought before.Thank you for a very nice time! PS one recommandation. Book your tickets some days, weeks before you arrive if you have special interests.

    We really enjoyed our stay here! The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and professional – the concierge even arranged a great trip to the Great Wall with an English-speaking driver, which made everything so easy. The hotel offers beautiful views from the higher floors, a nice pool and spa, and even a robot that delivers items to your room – our kids absolutely loved that! Best of all, the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so when it rained or got too hot outside, we had food, shops, and entertainment literally inside the hotel. A wonderful and convenient place to stay!

    Beijing is a beautiful city with a lot of tourist places which you must visit. From Beijing you can visit the Great Wall of China, Summer palace and lots of other nice places. Tip: Go to the Hutongs, there are a lot of small shops there and it is a great place to winder around.

    A modern city and yet the pace is not as hurried as others. Clean, pretty and convenient to move around. Nice museums (Art, History, Natural History) and an impressive public library next to the museum, in addition to the historic districts that many tourist agencies rave about.

    We came here specifically to see The Great Wall that ends in the ocean. First time my husband visited it ended in the ocean. There was no beach. The original wall is now encased as it is very deteriorated. An interesting site for sure.

    It's best for the great wall.

    It's best for the great wall. I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity. To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes. Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.

    Beijing is a must-see for anyone travelling to China, I recommend a few days there. The Forbidden City, the Great wall and the Summer palace are must-see for anyone interested in historical architecture and experiencing an ancient culture. However, there is also plenty to do besides that - the hutongs are an amazing way to experience traditional culture in the modern day, as well as buy handmade souvenirs and jewellery. There are massive modern shopping centres with plenty of Chinese and international brands. There are traditional restaurants and swanky modern bars. There is also Gubei water town, offering a great day-trip for anyone wishing to see a bit of nature and quaint town houses. Beijing offer something for everyone.

    The ability of the receptionist to communicate to me in...

    The ability of the receptionist to communicate to me in English was very professional. The Chef was very very friendly knowing that i was of African decent, he made me feel at home by taking me round and giving me insight of every single food served. All this was on the 31st December evening. He became my family on the night.

    Tianjin is very underrated, and at just 30 minutes from Beijing I think it should be more popular. The river, the foreign concessions, and the modern buildings inspired by them, make the city feel very European, and we love wandering around the foreign concessions and the streets of the Wudadao area, getting coffee in the many different cafes. There's also Ancient Culture Street, which isn't ancient but has plenty of culture, the China House which is amazing to see from the outside (haven't been inside yet), the Confucius Temple, the Tianjin Eye, walks along the riverbank... lots to see and do here!

    I only saw the area around the Sheraton hotel. I would love to come back in the summer. There is a wonderful Olympic Park, many quaint restaurants, a brilliant night market and lovely treed streets to walk around and admire a different style of China.
